Only on the upper fenders and mirrors but it keeps my running boards and the side of my truck clear. I'm actually downsizing to regain some gas mileage. Put my stocks on to test the diff and picked up 5mpg's....
Wow!!! I may go with Ford STX Appearance pkg. rims and 285/65R20. May be nice compromise and no poke

I wonder how much of that is the weight of the tire/wheel? The tire you have is 61# (i think stock is 46#, but have seen different values) - Nitto Terra G2 in 295/70r18 weighs 51# for a similar size as you picked but different wheels (18").
Keeping your wheels the Terra G2 in 275/65R20 which is similar height but less "poke" only weighs 47# seems like it could be a good option?

Also your odometer is off unless you recalibrated it - so if using the calculated gauge, your MPG hit is not quite as bad as it indicates.

Yeah I figured it was 5-10% off. I was at 98# per tire with my wheels. Going to a different rim with stock tire size for 20's. That will weigh in at 78#.

I wasn't able to figure out what the 18's it came with weighed all together wheel and tire wise. I could have weighed them I suppose but not going to do that at this point. I'll have a more street Look to the truck now but I got powerboost for the mileage and felt dumb Getting 13/14

My new wheels are a 35mm offset, and I'm curious to see with stock 270/60's what it will look like.

Are you using "stock" tires or different tires in the stock"size"

I don't have my truck yet but I am thinking about using the Nitto tires in either 305/55R20 or 275/60R20 on the sport wheels - no level or possibly remove the rear blocks - I like the looks of your truck currently (same color as I am awaiting) so very interested in your ongoing hunt for the proper treads!

I'm going Michelin LTX A/T in a 275/60 R20.

Pics. of new setup?
Still working on the wheels! Had some issues with them not balancing so they ordered in some replacement ones. Hoping that fixes it once in or may have to do another totally different wheel. Getting 18's for mileage now though!

No trimming, just had the level kit installed and slapped the wheels and tires on. I never drove it with stock wheels so can't compare the ride. I haven't gotten anywhere near the powerboost a stated fuel mileage yet though so really hoping that's due to how new it is and not the wheels and tires
How are you liking the Powerboost so far? I'm torn between the Power or Eco...

I would go eco if I did it again. I get 18's for the driving I do.. so it would take awhile for it to pay for itself. I'm all interstate though. If I had more highway or city my mileage would be a lot better.

Do you say this purely due to cost difference vs MPG or is there some issue/concern you have with the PB?

I am looking at a couple trucks with the primary difference being the eco/PB - the PB is actually a few $'s less cost (the eco has the locking rear/3.55, 36gl tank and 2.0kw propower) - given this I am leaning towards the PB.

Purely cost and fuel mileage! No issues at all- I don't need the generator it was an added bonus- if you were building and adding the gen on eco boost in my opinion that makes no sense just go to powerboost

Only thing I don't like that I'd say is an issue on it is the damn backup alarm. Can't wait for a way to shut that off lol.

Hey buddy do you get any rubbing whatsoever? Even in reverse at max turn? Tire size is kinda pushing it. I'm considering the exact same setup but don't want to cut off my crash bars. Great job!
