I thought I saw someone posting asking about insurance cost differences. I just want to post mine up if anyone is curious. I'm coming from a 2016 F150 5.0L XLT to a 2021 F150 Powerboost XLT. I also live in Upstate, New York in a relatively urban zip code, am married and own my house, good credit etc, for whatever that's worth.
Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability went from $203 on the 2016 DOWN to $187 on the 2021.
Uninsured Motorist & Supplementary Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist stayed the same at $10
Personal Injury Protection went DOWN from $28 on the 2016 to $26 on the 2021
Optional Basic Economic Loss stayed the same at $5
Medical Payments stayed the same at $10
Comprehensive went from $91 on the 2016 to $103 on the 2021.
Collision went from $164 on the 2015 to $197 on the 2021.
Rental Reimbursement went from $21 on the 2016 to $30 on the 2021 but coverage went from $40/day to $50/day
Roadside Assistance stayed the same at $5
Bottom line: So my total 6-month premium for my 2016 F150 was $532 and the on the 2021 was $568. An increase of 6.7%.
