I just generated a 24 Lightning-specific IPMA sheet here so have a look at that
May I ask you another question? I've been working through a thread from 2022 where a member added front proximity sensors to his 2021 King Ranch. Since my truck is a 2024 Lightning, I started with trying to decode the type of changes he was making. I took his "Change From" data and then looked at your spreadsheets to determine what features were originally turned on or off. For example: in 706-02-01 his 'Change From" was 7327-FFC4-016E and his "Change To" was 736B-FFCC-41FA. You have multiple tabs for IPMA, I used IPMA-706 but it has no "73" value for the **XX-XXXX-XX.
I looked at other tabs and one has a format of *XXX-XXXX-XXXX, but "7" wasn't an option. I'm trying to get my head around a methodical process that takes the member's starting configuration, compares the changes they suggest and then see if they make sense on my truck. Pretty clear you can't just plug in suggested member numbers from 2021 and expect success. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Any guidance on this? I’ve been all over their website and I see no information. Also within the software itself I can see how to save a log, but how to send logs to Forscan is not obvious to me.
Ya they pretty much removed it from their website for some reason. Search around in the Forscan folders for the following two files, then zip them and email them to the Forscan guys and they can hook you up.

There is a FORScan change for this, but you probably don’t want to do it. It used to work with earlier versions of the APIM, but it is incompatible with later versions. Screws up the maps. Take a look at this thread. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...een-while-in-motion-disabled-by-default.9418/
Ya, beat me to it, it use to work but newer software nuked it pretty much.

@farmtruckman only other way would be to trick the passenger seat occupancy sensor somehow, as when someone is sitting there it will allow you to.

Because it was a 2021, you are using the correct IPMA sheet, but here's how it works:
706-02-01 *xxx xxxx xx-- has values 0,2,4,6.
706-02-01 **xx xxxx xx-- has values from 0 to 1F.
it is an addition to get the resulting proper 2-digit value for **. Therefore, 73 = 6+13.

I believe the same applies wherever you see this type of thing when there are values listed for the a particular digit (*) and seemingly that digit used again for 2 digits (**)
Therefore, changing 706-02-01 xx** xxxx xx-- from 27 (2+07) to 6B (6+0B).

Hope that helps 🙂

Now, bear with me on this one:
in order to get my carplay icons to move over to the right hand side (because my truck is now RHD) setting VDL to RHD makes the passenger occupancy signal get sent. LHD, the driver occupancy signal.
7D0-02-01**xxxxxxxx--
TRG Picture in Picture (TRGPP) • Vehicle Driver Location (VDL) • Brand (B) • List Browser (LB) • Calm Screen (CS) • 4.2" HMI Menu Controller (HMIMC) • Gracenote (G)

This being an APIM setting, I presume it has no effect upon other systems. E.g. driver knee airbag has been moved to the right hand side along with the steering column.

If you can bear having your LHD CarPlay icons on the further side of the screen, you could find the corresponding setting for your VDL LHD and just change that setting to RHD to test.

I'll admit, here and now, I'm too much of a wuss to change it, even though I set it from LHD to RHD originally 😬

So here is a tricky one. Trucks in Middle East get a very orphaned TCU and as a result there is no WiFi connectivity on the truck and no personal hotspot.

Is there anything that can be done over FORScan that enables these features? Few folks seem to have found a way here in the UAE but pretty tight lipped about it unless you shell out $$$$$$$$$$ (emphasizing that they are greedy).
Any insights on this one? @superfordman @SilverPigeon

You know who I am 🤣. If you don't have mirror spotlights, try 9 instead of D in the APIM. Also check the HMI for it in the APIM:
360 Lighting Vehicle HMI (LVHMI) • IOD - Navigation (IODN) • IOD - On Board Generator (IODOBG)
7D0-01-04x*xxxxxxxx--
@rpmpest
What do you have at 7D0-01-04 x*xx-xxxx-xx--?

EDIT: Missed that @SilverPigeon already spotted it.
Thanks @antho and @SilverPigeon - nailed it, quick fix today and all is well. Appreciate your help.

Thank You! Would you mind seeing if my interpretation of this particular change is correct?

Ya, that one is a little out of my wheelhouse. I know some others have swapped in a EU spec TCU and made some things work if I recall. If your truck came straight from the US I'm surprised those are disabled, but maybe it went through someone/somewhere where it got disabled. Check out the following threads.

Cheers mate. I will review them and see what can be done. My truck registration does say on the local registration card that it was manufactured in the USA and exported to UAE.

While I work on the hotspot activation, I wanted to check with you folks to see if this is achievable. By default, the truck starts in a normal mode for exhaust, steering and damper.

Is there a FORScan hack that lets me set these to my preferred options, like comfort steering option (instead of normal)? While I drive the truck and change any settings, they stay on till the truck stays on. The next time I start the truck, it resets everything to “normal”.

Secondly, are these settings that get saved to memory buttons? Would be grateful if someone can elaborate on what all is saved with memory buttons.
