Read my FORScan tutorial here
I own a new 2024 Lightning XLT and I'm trying to use your most recent spreadsheet, specifically the IPMA (2024 -AB)-706 TAB to decode my own As Built Data to see if it bridges to the As Built data supplied by a poster who added front proximity sensors to his truck. When I decode my As Built, it seems kind of odd. My Connected Navigation recognizes speed limit signs, I have 360 camera view, and it will get upset if I'm not braking fast enough with a car in front. I created a spreadsheet for 706-01-01 and put my as built data alongside what the IPMA 2024 google spreadsheet said it meant. Would you mind taking a quick look at my decoding efforts and see if this seems correct. I'm guessing the 2024 Lightning might be different from the F-150, but I'd sure hope not. If you are dealing with the fires, please forget I even asked and we wish you the best of luck!

I just generated a 24 Lightning-specific IPMA sheet here so have a look at that

Guys,

i need some help with my zone lighting menu, i enabled this a few days ago and while the functions work, the display is messed up (see pic, thats the actual screen not a reflection in the photo etc). The zone lighting is working and the screen if touched to activate a section does clear, but i know i should be seeing an image of the truck and not this weird blur. All other screens/menus work perfectly, it's just this one.

Changes I made as below - module>original value>changed to

APIM was reset a few times after updating the lines. Any ideas? 8" screen, XLT, Australian spec.

If you have the paid version send your Logs off to Forscan and they can get it added and a test build sent back to you.
Any guidance on this? I’ve been all over their website and I see no information. Also within the software itself I can see how to save a log, but how to send logs to Forscan is not obvious to me.

You know who I am 🤣. If you don't have mirror spotlights, try 9 instead of D in the APIM. Also check the HMI for it in the APIM:
360 Lighting Vehicle HMI (LVHMI) • IOD - Navigation (IODN) • IOD - On Board Generator (IODOBG)

Slightly controversial request, so apologies well in advance. Is there a FORScan change that allows typing on the keyboard when the vehicle is in motion? The keyboard access is blocked when truck touches 10kmph.

This is high on my list as well but I’ve never been able to figure it out

So here is a tricky one. Trucks in Middle East get a very orphaned TCU and as a result there is no WiFi connectivity on the truck and no personal hotspot.

Is there anything that can be done over FORScan that enables these features? Few folks seem to have found a way here in the UAE but pretty tight lipped about it unless you shell out $$$$$$$$$$ (emphasizing that they are greedy).

Thank you. When I match my As Built Data values for 706-01-01 they are the same as your prior IPMA (2024 - AB) *706 sheet, so that's good. What confuses me is using Ford's Connected Navigation, I do get speed limit signs popping up. (Maybe that's in the navigation vs. the car cameras actually reading the signs?), I do have 360 degree view which doesn't jive with MFCODCV Disabled (is this perhaps different than what they call 360 view?).

I will double check to see if the As Build data from Ford from my VIN actually matches what FORScan says I actually have in the car. I need to begin by backing up all modules, so I'll start there. Thanks very much for responding and all the work on the spreadsheets.

@rpmpest
What do you have at 7D0-01-04 x*xx-xxxx-xx--?

EDIT: Missed that @SilverPigeon already spotted it.

The car does have the mirror spotlights and they do work when activated via zone lighting.

7D0-01-04 is currently set at -4-- which going by spreadsheet is

LVHMI Vehicle 2 (U725) • IODN Disabled • IODOBG Disabled

On the spreadsheet I see 7D0-01-03 also mentions zone lighting

7D0-01-03xxxxxxxxx*--0 =IODT Disabled • IODFE Disabled • IODZL Disabled • IODBC Disabled8 =IODT Enabled • IODFE Disabled • IODZL Disabled • IODBC Disabled

On mine, 7D0-01-03 is xxxx-xxxx-x0xx. Should this be 2 instead?

@rpmpest Aust, @antho made a good catch there 🙂 U725 is a Bronco platform. You want 0-3 P702 is f-150.
0 =LVHMI Vehicle 1 (P702 - FNV2) • IODN Disabled • IODOBG Disabled
1 =LVHMI Vehicle 1 (P702 - FNV2) • IODN Disabled • IODOBG Enabled
2 =LVHMI Vehicle 1 (P702 - FNV2) • IODN Enabled • IODOBG Disabled
3 =LVHMI Vehicle 1 (P702 - FNV2) • IODN Enabled • IODOBG Enabled

Thanks guys, that's interesting because U725 is the As Built. I didn't change it.

There is a FORScan change for this, but you probably don’t want to do it. It used to work with earlier versions of the APIM, but it is incompatible with later versions. Screws up the maps. Take a look at this thread. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...een-while-in-motion-disabled-by-default.9418/
