In reviewing that listing it says 1 each… so to geta complete set is is like $3,500???? Can that be right?
The description is plural: Bilstein "Tuned by Ford Performance" front coil-over assemblies and remote reservoir rear shocks. Whew!

steel vs aluminum
Those are 100% steel. Nothing is different to the regular 6112 externally; the front shock eye is still welded on.

They do look painted in a really nice coating, though, so likely less rust prone than the regular Bilstein finish.

$1,700 seems like a lot for 2 front shocks to me. Ford quoted me $770 for 2 Bilstein 5100's. (Not installed)

Pretty sure the price of 1750 is for front and rear. That is right around where the 6200/5160 price point is anyway
Yeah description says "Bilstein "Tuned by Ford Performance" front coil-over assemblies and remote reservoir rear shocks "

$770 for just the front set of 5100s? Jesus, what a rip off. You can get a full set of front and rear 5100s for around $450 from stage3motorsports and $850 for the 6112 stage 1 front and rear set. They're trying to charge you almost double what the full set (front and rear) of 5100s cost for just the front two lol.

Anyone know if it works with tremor or powerboost?
"Not validated against" them. Whatever that means.

My translation: "It probably fits, but if it doesn't, don't complain and say we didn't warn you. Good luck."

Lol that’s what I gathered too. But would a dealer install them on one of those models?

It wouldn't surprise me if some did. Dealers have been installing the Gen 13 "Ford" (Fox) kit on Gen 14s, so I hear.

I was replying to 780 which mentioned Ford quoted him $770 for two Bilstein 5100s. Its in his message lol I am well aware of the difference between the 5100s and 6112s which is what the Ford performance kit is based off of. I currently have a set of 5100s installed on my truck., but the price they quoted him for just the front two is almost double the price of a full front and rear set.

Looking at the eye and bodies, they don’t look the same as the 6112

so the front tubes are about a quarter inch larger in diameter than the 6112 according to written description.

because I am also doing new UCAs, I am just moving forward with my 6112 / 5160 combo. I think any warranty bonus doing the Ford Performance would probably be offset because I would put aftermarket UCAs on those as well…

That picture is wrong. This is a comparison with a pic I took of mine
Ford F-150 2021-2023 F-150 Ford Performance Leveling Kit (by Bilstein) is released 1663810399260

They are giving the outside diameter. My 6112s I just measured at 2.65". Most descriptions I've seen of the Bilsteins just reference the piston diameter of 60mm (2.36"). Same piston size as the Ford listing.
