2018-2020 Tow Mirrors fit?

Look near the end of page 1 of this thread, I managed to fit one but you will have to trim a few areas of the plastic mounting surface around the window seal to make it work. But I think it can be done in a pinch.

I have a set of tow mirrors I bought for my 2017 just before I traded in for a 2021, if anyone is interested. They are OE mirrors with the adapter to plug into the 8 plug. I live in central Florida.

They won't without some minor trimming of the mounting surface (mirror side) near the window's weather strip (see my earlier replies).

Hello everyone! I know this thread is a bit old, but I’m looking to upgrade my truck’s mirrors to tow mirrors. I found a set on Marketplace that came off a 2018 F-150 Platinum. They’re 22-pin mirrors with power fold, power telescope, cameras, and blind spot.

I currently drive a 2021 F-150 XLT with BLIS and 360 camera, but no power-fold option. I’m wondering if these mirrors would work as a direct swap or if I’d need to do some retrofitting. Also, I’ve noticed that the camera location is different on newer models compared to older ones (picture attached below), Would that cause any issues, or is it still a straightforward plug-and-play swap?
