I live about 30 minutes away from the dealership I bought from. I have a Ford dealer 3 miles from my house but when I sent out feeler emails to all the local dealers to get an initial price to see who started out the lowest, my local dealer told me he wouldn't give me a price unless I stopped talking to other dealers first cause "it's not worth his time to get into a price war with other dealers"

LMAO that is exactly what their job IS to do, is to sway you from the other dealers, Ford or otherwise. Sheesh. As long as they don't go below their dealer holdback and lot assistance, they make a profit from every sale. Of course, if this guy makes like $1k per hour then I agree it is not worth his time!

He tried to claim he would only male $100 in profit after a dealer war. I basically told him to go pound sand. I made a google review of the place and the dealership owner didn't like that and forced him to give me a quote but he didnt even quote me for most of the options I asked for so I didnt ever reply to his email.

On another note, the Jack Cooper site now shows my truck has been delivered to the dealership! Funny thing is "Pioneer" on the other website who can see Fords system told me it still shows as "Awaiting Shipment" ?

Of course it would arrive the day I leave town for work. Hopefully I can pick it up Monday

15 days sitting awaiting shipment and for the last two the Window Sticker has been missing. Love the quality information from Ford.

Salesman is out of town till Tuesday so I have to wait a few days longer but he had a coworker take these pictures for me. (He did offer to have someone else handle the deal if I didn't want to wait, but I decided to just wait for him to come back)

I notice it doesn't have the wheel well liners installed that I ordered. I wonder if they started just having the dealerships install them once they arrive? I'm not worried though, they are on the window sticker and it's easy for them to install if they forgot them somehow.

It's now in Clovis, New Mexico 10 days after shipping slowly making its way to San Diego via Mira Loma.

Order Date 19/12/20
Build Date 01/03
Ship Date (KC) 04/03
ETA End Date: 01/04
Deal called me today, landed 24/03, pick up on Monday. Dealer already swapped the shoes.

i wasn’t originally going to be part of this build week but I ended up purchasing a dealer stock XLT 302a on 03/12/21. Blend date was 02/20/21 (Dearborn) on the truck. Hope everyone has received or is very close to taking delivery of their truck!

Mine is still sitting at the rail yard 10 miles from my dealer. Been there since the 17th. I have a PCO expiring on the 31st so holding out hope but now down to the final few days

Call your dealer, they can honor the PCO since you are this close, mine did.
