2” Leveling Lift struts installed and now I have a rattle

2021 XLT Supercap. I just installed a 2” leveling lift with new Rough Country struts and now I have a rattle when going over small ruts and bumps at low speed.

I don’t hear it at higher speeds. I have tightened and torqued everything down and I’m stumped. Ford dealer simply says “it’s the aftermarket struts they are bad”, but I’m not sure I believe that.

the truck rides and drives fine, 4wd works fine and no grinding when I put it in.

Any similar experience or known issues or solutions?

You figure this out yet? Similar issue and thought it was going to by the sway bar links from some other reading but it wasn’t.

Nope haven’t figured it out yet. Completely reinstalled the struts, re- torqued, tightened and torqued the sway
Bar on the ground, and re-inserted the axles ….. still has a rattle. All I can conclude is that it’s the strut itself and needs replaced.
