Have a 2021 F-150 XLT sport. Approx 1200 miles. I‘m looking to buy/trade for the factory 2021 Sport 20” wheels with the Hankook AT2s.

In Lincoln, NE and willing to drive 200 or so miles to meet someone to buy or trade plus some cash on my side.

My question is: since my current 18 Inch setup have a diameter of 32.1“, the 20 inch setup is 33” according to tiresize.com .. so other then the speedometer needing recal, will Performance be hurt? I imagine the wheel/tire setup on the 20s weighs more? Or not?

If the 20" wheels/tires weigh more (likely), acceleration and MPGs will be affected. It may corner slightly better due to the shorter sidewall height though.

Appreciate the response but ya I’m hoping someone knows the weights as if it’s a big difference that’s definitely gonna be more inertia to move the wheels.

my 2016 xlt sport FX4 had the optional 20s and possibly handled a bit better with the shorter sidewall. Nothing crazy noticeable for me thou.

I would think tire selection would impact mpg more than weight... some tires have lower rolling resistance than others. Weight is largely only a factor to mpg through acceleration... rolling resistance is constant anytime the truck is moving. Unless you do a lot of stop and go driving., give this some thought...

I would think you get better performance with the 18’s plus tires are a bit less. I prefer the look of all the 18’s except the chrome.
