And then when you get your truck, you might get to wait on a warranty parts for many weeks. 6.5 weeks so far for a heat exchanger for me. Some folks have waited longer and can't drive their truck until the part is in.

Why are some folks not allowed to use their trucks? They leak so bad, they can't refill fast enough?

Yep - I'm fortunate that I can still use my truck. One had a replacement part and it started leaking again, badly.

Apparently they have a really bad leak. The dealer said it could void the warranty if they drove it and the engine overheated. (I may be getting this confused with the driveshaft scoring problem)

I got the expected e-mail the other day from Ford saying they need more time. My truck was built on Jan 12 and has been sitting ever since. I think what @Mainah is true about getting the first round of trucks stuck in lots. At this point I think my Bronco Rapture will arrive first.

Maybe @Ford Motor Company can chime in and tell us why some of our trucks with 2021 blend dates are sitting and not being finished while others from April dates are rolling off the line completed?!

I just checked my app and my truck already has two recalls and they’re waiting on parts. They say by the end of the 2nd quarter they should have the parts to fix it.

I chatted with ford today they are saying my eta to dealer is 5/17, haven’t gotten a built email yet and the ford rep on the chat told me my truck is not on chip hold, it’s delayed for another reason but they couldn’t tell me what it was.

I’ve been keeping an eye on the United road site for what’s been coming to my dealer, they have 3 dealer stock orders being delivered this week, 1 has Feb blend, 1 March, 1 April So frustrated with this

Understand the frustration. Communication is the least expensive service a company can provide, with the biggest return on their investment.

I'm at 7.5 weeks waiting on a part. Got a Trailer Brake Recall letter in the mail this week and the fix that was supposed to be live 10 days ago apparently got pulled (so no fix for the letter they said to come in right away to the dealer and be fixed for). And last night driving home turned on the radio and heard a LOUD POP (like a firecracker) and then loud static, then no sound at all (after turning it off and back on). An off/on/radio source change finally reset it, but it's not a fun thing to have happened.

I went to the trailer brake reprogram also and was told the same thing. The program that was released wasn’t correct or up to date so they didn’t do anything. Then I looked today at my ford pass app and I have another recall for the steering column since mine moves. It stays that the harness is to short and may cause issues if in an accident.

I have a feeling this is going to be an on going issue with these trucks because of the pandemic and not having the correct parts and they were just putting anything in that seemed to work at the time.
