Well, I can say the truck was worth the wait for me. Towed 600 miles today and this thing is better in every way than my 2006 5.4L 3V F150. Got 11.5 MPG overall towing ~7200 lb once i figured out how to lock out gears 8-10. Was pretty sure I could rip the coupler off the trailer with this truck. Only issue is persistent light faults - this truck does not like my trailer LEDs…seems this is a common issue.

Looking forward to a track weekend with my own power source!

Stopped by the dealership and took a look at it; in the back of the lot waiting to be inspected/prepped, all I can say is it looks like a new truck! And damn, this thing is high off the ground. Running boards will definitely be one of the first additions to it. Couldn't even get a good glimpse of the color (first time seeing an entire vehicle up close in stone gray, not just an accent color), so hoping it looks good.

Had the salesman pull incentive information for me, apparently the finance guy at the computer told him that since I have the custom order $1k offer, that other offers (i.e. farm bureau member) are not available/don't stack. Am I getting screwed around here? When the salesman said he would make sure I got every one I was eligible for, I made sure he knew that I was aware they had nothing to lose by doing so since Ford would reimburse them for the incentives.

Now I just have to see if I can hold out until after the beginning of February to actually get it. Fingers crossed for good financing deals for Truck Month!

Sorry to read that. Hopefully Ford will finish what they need to do, and will get it to you sooner.

I don’t understand why it took this long to notify me. Truck has been “built” since 12/27. I did get a spray in bed liner but I would think with me receiving the build email from ford that it’s completely built and that includes bed liner. So maybe mine is a transportation issues I’m hoping.

Maybe I'm dumb, but what is special about February?

EDIT: Seems like February or March is generally considered "Truck Month" by Ford. Does that mean better discounts and sometimes financing?

As @Roscopcoletrain might say - Good News, Good News!
Congrats!

I would say Ford is to blame, they are still stuck on old time dealer sale model in this new era of internet. I do not get PCO's like many I have seen, why, probably because Ford thought I will buy anyway. They do have a big competition from Ram, my kids and I are very happy with Ram we have and waiting for a hybrid model.

Yeah, for as long as I can remember they do 0/72 on F150 during that time frame.

Would like to know this as well. Seem like my truck could be any day now, but if it means holding one week I can swing that !

Just curious, for those of you like me (buying out of state or further), when are you doing the finance application? Even though we can see the truck is near, my dealer said to wait until it arrives on lot because if we do it before they loose the ability to track. With it being so close to end of month, wondering if I should just wait. I do have 0/60 locked in from November.

I still haven’t gotten a second email but my delivery date has updated to Feb 3. hopefully this will be the date seeing that it isn’t a random Sunday when every dealer is closed

Granger does it when the truck is delivered. I plan to do it over the phone and when I fly in to pick it up just do the final signing to be out the door quick.

Mine just showed up at the dealer. I’m in Colorado with friends until Sunday so they are going to deliver up to Dallas for me on Monday.
