I asked Chapman if they get notified about window stickers. Ashlie said no - she said they have to check the system and will do so when asked by those of us who don't get emails from Ford. I assume it's probably the same for all dealers.
I also just asked Koons this morning if he will see a window sticker, haven't heard back yet
Ford flipped the order of VIN and Order Number text fields on the page. Order Number is now first, then VIN. This change caught me. After correcting my entry, the order tracker works as expected.
First of all thanks for the reply, I did notice the change to the text fields earlier but that didn't help so I tried the URL with my VIN and it did the same thing and returned to the tracking page with the information deleted. I'm not sure if this means anything or not. I had thought the site was possibly being updated with new information ?but that's probably not what's happening. I've also tried it on my Ipad browser, mobile phone browser and a desktop browser and the all return the same way.
By the way it was working as of Friday but only showed the order date without the build week which my dealer supplied.
Oddly enough, I ended up with two 2022 orders on the same day - one each with Koons of Woodbridge and Chapman of Horsham for the same exact build in my signature block. I placed a 2022 order in the morning with Koons and was notified in the afternoon my previous 2021 order was converted to a 2022. My Chapman order rcvd VIN and build week first, so I requested to cancel the Koons order although it later rcvd a VIN. Unfortunately the Chapman build week has been pushed out twice to 1/24 now. Long story short, I talked with Dexter at Koons this morning and now that one has also been rescheduled for build week 1/24. At least Ford is consistent!
I think it's usually a week out from build date...do you know when yours is? Mine is 12/16 for now...so I'm hoping by Thursday!
Oh got it. I don’t think I have a build date yet. The last communication was an email from Ford with my 12/13 build week. I’ll probably reach out to my sales guy if I don’t hear anything in the next few days. So far I have just received all of my info directly from Ford via email
