12/13 Build Week

Sorry to see @emiantan slip back a week to 12/20 and @LurchOR drop from the 11/29 week to here.

My build date is now 12/18 (Saturday) per Dexter @ Koons. Hopefully this parts stoppage is a quick one... Dexter said they would call their Rep on Monday to get info. If I hear anything, I'll share.

Welcome @DuckArm! Got you in the list below. Glad you could join us. Let me know if you have spray in liner, or wheel well covers. Also work surface (WS), but that's just me being nosey at this point.

(We don't think that the WS is a delay now.) The other items seem to be only a few days for a build delay.

And we'll pass those thanks for thread creation to @70Mach1, as he started this whole thing we're in!

@TN Rotty, what you about adaptive steering? I see you have in your built, I did not see much info, info I saw from ford does not seem worth extra 1k for me

my KR is not not scheduled yet, I saw some post about AS, if you do not have in built, they are not scheduling those right now. Both limited and KR were ordered together

My order got moved up from the week 12/20 to build date 12/16

Well, just received an email response from Chapman Ford. Screenshot shows my scheduled build week has now been pushed out even further to 1/24. Disappointed to say the least.

That's what was posted on the scheduling notes for 11/15. I don't know if that affects current builds, or if it's overshadowed by the very limited availability for non-scheduled Plats, KRs, etc.

I agree it's a lot of $ for Adaptive Steering (AS), but I figure this may be my last/retirement truck and I think we will/could use it for trailering (equipment or camping). Plus my shoulder is showing some wear (it's the miles and not the years). So that was in my decision to get AS.

Plus,... My last "ordered"/accepted truck was an 03 Silverado that had everything I wanted, except a locking diff. This truck was on a dealers lot a few hundred miles away and I didn't have to wait for the factory to build it - so I got that one. Every time my wheels spun in the grass, I regretted not waiting and getting that diff. Small item looking back, but big difference later on (or maybe my OCD made it big).

Thanks - I plan to ask later how people are using their WS. Mine will probably be for pizza one time...

California, probably going to take the longest comparing to others.

I think F150 Tremors are Detroit only.

Yeah, it's disappointing. I certainly hope 1/24 is month/day and not month/year!

I find solace in the fact there are folks who have and still are waiting longer than me. I also hope the push-back might somehow be connected with a possible shifting of parts from DTP to KCAP to balance out the final 2021 builds. That said, I wouldn't object to another revision with a new earlier build week!

I started a "01/24/2022 Build Week" thread for anyone who finds out they will join me.

11/29 transplant here. Ordered 10/22. 22 Lariat. DRB. Dest=FL. Spray in bed liner. Hoping to see a window sticker soon.

I have not, but not even sure I would know. None of the trackers work for me, and no Ford email’s. So, unless my dealer can see it, I’m just waiting.
