11/29 Build Week

[LFGM]

So talked to my sales rep today (Dexter) and he told me my build week (11/29) is now a build date (12/1)! This will be my first Ford (ordered or otherwise) and my first ordered vehicle since our 1994 Suburban.

Because I like spreadsheets and apparently need something to do, I thought I'd start the list of trucks in process this week. For those that read the 11/1 Build club thread and the listings that @pkinneb kept track of, I thought I'd follow a similar route as he did. Thanks @pkinneb !

I did change a couple of columns however and entered what I could see from the postings. If I liked your post, it was a way for me to see that I gathered info from that post. If I messed up, or you can provide me with more info, let me know and I'll update the list.

I'm tracking non-Ford installed options (spray in liner, wheel well covers) as an * after the user name, and since Adaptive Steering was removed from the packages and listed as something that might speed the build date, I'm noting that as well.

For destinations, use your dealership state and not your location. Mine is in VA (Koons), to explain why it does not say TN.

@TN Rotty i actually hit up dexter yesterday because I didn’t get any emails from Ford yet. He asked for a clearer picture of my Drivers license so hopefully this is just so Ford can send me my authorization number and tracking number. Hopefully I don’t get pushed back. I only got the build date and vin from him so far.
how long did it take you to get an email from Ford?

I did not receive any emails from Ford. All my information has been from Dexter.

I did read one other post where a customer got his dealer to re-enter his email into Ford's system (which took multiple attempts) and then he got a welcome email from Ford, but no emails after that. I think the email/order process may have some errors in there.

For me, I figure that once a window sticker gets created, I will be able to see more progress through the trackers. Hopefully I'll get a window sticker the week of the 22nd. Until then I've been going to Dexter with questions and for updates.

Called back to my dealer 6 days after ordering and had them add my email to the order. Then received the order confirmed Email from Ford. Nothing else form Ford since, all the info I have is from my dealer via email on 10/29 (vin and build week).

Do you have adaptive steering on it? They're only scheduling KR / platinum that have adaptive steering included. Been that way for a while....
