For closure on that anecdote & since I referenced picture requests, I was able to build and deliver the bookcases by T Day. There are a few dealer installed options that will be installed after the delivery date (top and bottom molding), and full payload can't be used until the glue sets for 24 hours on 8 of the shelves (today at 6 PM), but the new owner is very happy to have a new "vehicle" to haul her cookbooks.

New member here.
Ordered a 2021 end of July. Apparently build week of this week. Shows end date eta of Jan 16, 2022.........which has me very concerned that 2022’s will be on the lot before my July order even gets to me. Any in-site available?

I would check with your dealer on when they expect it to arrive if it was built this week. My sales man said he expects my 21 in early Jan. But with a blend date of 11/29 for mine I looked at other trucks that just arrived at my dealers lot, and most of the trucks coming from KC like mine, arrived within about 3 weeks. So I am expecting to see mine around Christmas. So maybe check out your dealer website, look for trucks that just arrived, then check the blend date on the sticker for an idea of what to expect.

The last truck that arrived was a 10/03 blend and came last week....not good.
Mines a KC build space white xlt max tow sport fx4 5.0

Well maybe they will be running a decent rebate on 21s in Jan so there is that possibility, but who knows if they will or not....
