welp, now that the build and price is up for 22s I decided to see what my truck would cost if i ordered it today. The same truck would be 2k more than i paid. I feel like that is a win, seeing as I have a 22.

I did the same thing and mine today would be about $935 more than the MSRP on my window sticker. Still a little mad that I was not aware the Larait trim didn’t come standard with the bed lighting anymore but other than that I’m happy with it. The bed lighting really helps when you have a bed cover.

What do you think of the bed lighting from f150led.com. Not sure if I already posted this. I’m getting old at 35 lmao

Its not too bad…I just don’t keep one long enough to put money and time in aftermarket stuff so it’s nice to get it from the factory. I’m on an vehicle plan from my employer which requires me to keep a truck within two years of new so I’m trading every two years or so.

Yep! The lights were a must for me. My sales rep was all over it though and added it when he converted it to a 22. I paid about 1k under my sticker. They price locked my 21 price.

Purchased Aeroskin in clear smoked color. I’ve had them before and they are very sleek looking. Not much for keeping windshield bug free though.
Currently on my 2020 I have the Aeroskin II. It is more aggressive looking and give a more off road look with it’s matt plastic finish. It also has a raised lip that deflects bugs better. All in all the Aero II is better but I don’t like the looks of it for the truck I have coming (soon I hope!)

So the halogen license plate lights had to go as they just looked bad with the rest of the lighting being LED. I first ordered a package of cheap LED bulbs off of Amazon because both my truck and my wife’s 2021 expedition have halogen license plate bulbs. They worked fine on the expedition but the LED bulbs were ever so slightly longer than the halogen and made contact with the lense on the ones for the truck. So I ended up ordering the morimoto xb from here.

https://www.americantrucks.com/morimoto-f150-xb-led-license-plate-lights-smoked-lf7914.html

Install was easy and the color matches well to the other lighting. My only concern is how bright they are and how much glare they will produce in the rear view camera at night since there isn’t a shield on the top of the light housing. It was some what dark this morning when I was leaving for work and they were definitely noticeable on the camera. I think they will be ok but still TBD. I also installed some Ford wheel well liners and they super easy to install and clean things up nicely. Hope all that have received their trucks are still enjoying them and anyone still left hopefully you’ll get yours soon!

So I think I'm between the aeorskin and the weather tech. Anyone seen the weather tech in person?

The Sylvania 194 LED bulb from Walmart or Advanced worked perfectly for around $7 each. Color matches up pretty close and not too bright on the camera (although a little brighter than factory I think). I don't think they touch the lens but I may double check now that you mentioned it. Thanks...lol.

I ordered and installed the Husky wheel well liners. Loving them so far!

Found out today that my truck is at Nashville rail yard and has been since 01/15... Don't know how I feel about that - I mean it's 120 miles away and still not here.......

Mines potentially 3.5 hrs or 5hrs away after arriving by rail 10ish days ago. Ford gives thoughts and prayers. I asked if they feel it’s proper to deliver trucks ordered in dec earlier then July orders and they just gave the typical song and dance.
