Built 11/11-11/13
ETA currently was moved back to 01/03/22.
I had a heart to heart with my dealer a few days ago who then finally made some calls and found out that the truck is actually built but is held up because of the Lay Flat seats. They are now saying that it is causing everyone who ordered them a 6-8 week delay.
They offered me an August build that is identical except without the lay flat seats or work surface…but I’m at peace waiting now that I know what the heck is going on.

Nope still no truck. I called Ford and my dealer but no new news

I have a King Ranch with the max recline seats...my dealer said that is the reason why mine is delayed. What is your build?
I wrote to the company that makes the seats, trying to buy them directly…but of course, no response.

My build is a 2021 Lariat Supercrew 5.5ft bed 501A 3.5 Ecoboost Guard Green, baja tan with trailer tow package, Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0 , 3.31 E- Lock, spray bed liner, and sunroof.

Not a lot added or special so Im frustrated that its took longer than I was expecting and not a lot of detail from Ford when I call or my dealer has been able to get.

No rhyme or reason. Two different factories, two different builds…both sitting in lots with no communication.

Tracker updated that mine was built on 01/09/22 - new ETA is 01/31/22. Have had accessories ordered since mid October, so we are ready to go when it gets here. It’s starting to get pretty exciting. ?

Officially took delivery yesterday after a few days of installing accessories and window tint.
As we were driving it down the highway, I commented to my son that it was well worth the wait.
