08/23 Build Week

today makes 182 days since i ordered ,
i got a build date of 8-20, 1436 in kc but nothing has updated on tracker so i have no idea if it actually got built .
dealer cant seem to find any info.
i notice the date on bottom of window sticker changes every couple days.

he ordered a lariet that’s why…higher trucks above platinum just don’t get built as fast.

What trim/power train are you? I have a 6/5 order date, 8/23 production, WAS a 9/18 deliver date…now it’s 10/31. I‘m Platinum/Powerboost. Assuming it’s because they take more chips, but who knows!

I am a KCAP 8/19 Build - sequence 1137 and from what I have seen is that the truck entered production, but was not completed. Ford ETIS has no information about the PTI modules either, so the truck has not been powered up yet. I have seen trucks shipped with a 8/19 sequence of 0800ish, but none higher than that. These trucks that were to be completed the 8/16 build week will hopefully be done the first Monday they are back so they can begin building trucks from the 8/23 week shortly thereafter.

As for Dearborn trucks that have been 'built' - there are new rumors floating around that if your 'ETA end date' is 10/31 - your truck does not have all of its modules due to chip shortage. You can reach out to your dealer who will have that info in the Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR) where it will say 'Hold at Plant - Microchip Shortage' or something like that.

I’m a Dearborn build switched to 10/31 delivery — my message is “Micro chip at Plant on Hold” not sure if that’s better or not. I interpret that as the chip is there, but who knows.

Had an original build week of 7/19 on my Raptor so early July traded in my truck since I was going to Georgia for work. Then got bumped to 08/23 with build day of 8/26. Date shows 08/30 on tracker I think they were a day or two behind. Still haven't got the built bubble but eta deliver day is 9/30 by rail to Texas.

Sales man says it's produced and nothing holding it up just waiting to be released

Got my train rail car number!! Truck is moving towards its drop off point in Mesquite, TX!! Should be there on Sunday morning. Crossing my fingers it makes it the dealer next week!!

Thanks... was hoping "another Way" feel bad bothering my dealer, they have been great and done alot... I know the truck is coming but would love to know MORE details ;-)
