06/6/22 Build Week Group

Curious if there are a bunch of Smoked Quartz in our build group? I saw one other one on the spreadsheet. Seemed like SQ was not getting scheduled much. Did ford finally score a drum of SQ paint?

Here we go, just got the notice this morning after 5 months of waiting.

Got my notification yesterday after 6 months almost to the day...ordered 11/11/21. Hopefully it sticks. They did annoyingly remove the Active Park Assist and Max Recline Seats from my build though. ugh

Yesterday I got my vin and it was scheduled for the week of June 6th, then today I got an email saying it was moved to the week of June 13th. At least I'm hearing something about it now though I guess.

Hi everyone. I am a refugee from the 5/30 build week thread, just got pushed out to 6/6. Hoping this third reschedule is my last.

I’m still happy to at least be scheduled in general though.

Got my email with VIN on Thursday. Scheduled for week 6/6/22. Park assist, adaptive steering and max recline / multi contour seats force deleted. Ironically, I found a truck "in transit" Thursday morning - before the Ford email - to a dealer in Texas that has all my options and more - with the more being about a $5k cost penalty over my order. While I could have "lived with" elimination of park assist, adaptive steering, and even elimination of max recline (although that was a key consideration when ordering), the elimination of even the "standard" Platinum seat (multi-contour with active motion) doesn't make it a Platinum any more. Worse, can't seem to find out what seats are actually going to be in truck!! So I placed a deposit on truck "in transit" to Texas only to find out its been on a "chip hold" since January (blend date 1/26/22). You can't make this stuff up! So now I am waiting to see which truck arrives first!! It really ticks me off that you "custom order" a truck, Ford acknowledges/confirms the order, then after several months of unscheduled purgatory, they "force delete" options from your order without consultation and say "take it or leave it". So, stay tuned, will see what happens - may just end up deciding this has been far more aggravation than I can tolerate and cancel everything!! But good luck to those who are getting the trucks they ordered, and I guess good luck to those who aren't but are scheduled.

It has been fun, but the almighty FORD has once again pushed my build week to 6/13. This is the 4th reschedule in a month lol.
