Ford can’t even give me or my dealer an eta for shipping now. Chat just says that I’m “due for an update” because the system says it should have shipped last week.

I am really struggling with this shipping fiasco. I could understand the component shortages pushing a build date out for a long time. I don’t understand why newer trucks have been delivered to customers and mine seems to be stuck at DTP indefinitely.

The only thing I can think of, is ford has parked mine and your truck in the back of a big parking lot, convoy keeps taking them from the front of lot, and when new trucks are built , they keep parking them in front and since there’s not enough convoys to keep up with demand, ours is just chilling in back of lot with no hope of shipment unless the plant stops making cars for a week while the convoys keep working. I hope I’m wrong

That’s exactly my theory/worry. There are roughly 200 trucks more waiting to ship than when mine was first out of the built stage. Some people stuck behind us have been waiting months. I feel like an idiot for thinking that having my truck built was the biggest hurdle to clear…

My shipping nightmare is over, I picked up my truck a few hours ago.

Interestingly enough, it still has Carmelo interior stripes... even though my build said it was deleted months ago.

I'll post more photos tomorrow, 3 more hours of driving to get home.

Its worth the wait folks.

Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if mine got stolen and Ford’s solution was to not say anything. I am so sick of how this company treats customers.

Dealer just called me, said they just got the pre delivery notice for my truck , he said it should be in either tomorrow or Monday, not gonna count my chickens til they hatch, but sounds like good news so far

Where was it awaiting shipment? My dealership is in dearborn and my truck just got transferred from the dearborn plant to Ramp 51 in flatrock. Its going further from my dealer lol

My dealer is in Clinton township, truck was in Dearborn. The way my dealer made it sound is they pretty much wait til there’s a truck full before they deliver , he said they got a truck load last week and he’s got about 10 cars coming with my order

Already bought a travel trailer and might sell my car tomorrow. Literally put the cart before the horse and the barn may be empty. Both ford and teamsters need to htfu and can kma.

Hope the remaining ones get shipped soon, mine is on it s way through Ohio heading for NY and supposed to arrive at the local rail yard on Sunday at 11am per CSX. Hoping the dealer can get it in their hands and prepped so I can pick it up Thursday and take it on my 10 day trip to Maryland and Virginia, if not I wont be able to pick it up until August 1st when I get back

Dexter called this morning and mine has finally arrived. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, I won’t be able to pick it up until 7/29. Pics will be posted promptly.

Guess yours was hanging out with mine from the 5/09 build group. Dexter called and mine got in yesterday. Hopefully I can pick it up Sunday or Monday if its ready.

It is home. Because the dealer did not file the paper work. They told me I’m not price protected. They suck $5000 more out of me.
