You‘d probably better off in the long run. With gas prices going up and who knows who might be in control, a person can’t afford to drive it anyway.
So many people are excited about all electric vehicles, whereas I just don’t see it. I can understand the hybrid vehicles but all electric, no thanks; you turn a two day cross country trip into a week long adventure. Hopefully our resale won’t tank when it comes time to trade an all gas vehicle,… that’s my biggest worry. At the rate Ford is pumping our trucks out they may be obsolete before we get them.

I need to take a step back, complaining about not getting my truck that is basically a toy, in the timeframe I want is a serious first world problem. There are so many bigger issues going on, and I am blessed to be in a place where my biggest complaint is the truck I want isnt in my garage.

That said I need a truck to tow our boat around. I agree with your take on electric, for some people the use case works. For me I would need it be able to drive 125 miles to the lake, pull our 7000lb boat around for a weekend, then drive the 125 miles home. The lake is in southern KY / Northern TN, there is no charging infrastructure. It just doesnt work. Right now I can do that with a little over half a tank of gas.

If the market takes a hard swing to EV I see people who use their truck as a truck going to a super duty as those wont be EV for awhile. For people who use their F150 to get groceries the lighting will work.

Mine doesn’t show “built” yet but my eta has been 2/14. What is yours showing in the tracker?

My window sticker was 1/11, then updated to 1/18. No change since. Blend is 1/14. Module website showed activity on 1/17. Pals app shows pending. Ford says in production.

I have to laugh.. They (ford) can't get a truck to me when they say but I just signed into my vehicle dashboard on the ford.com site and it finally shows a simulation of my actual ordered truck. Even the right color. Will miracles never cease........ Now if someone could photo shop some of the black sport with the machine face wheels onto it I would be tickled! Oops nothing changed, they forgot the running boards.

My Blend Date was 2x weeks ago today, The Tracker says my truck is still in production with a Delivery ETA of TODAY! And the window sticker was last updated on the 18th as of yesterday and today it was updated. So i can only assume somethings happening to the truck right? Its annoying that is showing delivery today even though it was on a chip hold as of monday. mmmmmm

So mine updated yesterday. I am hopeful that means my truck is a day ahead of yours in line to get chips and get headed my way.

I have nothing to back up that hope lol.

I will say my bled date was 1/12 so its not like the window sticker is updating weekly on the blend date or anything.

Who knows what it means at this point.

Just talked to my dealer, he said a note just poped up today or last night, im on microchip hold aswell, eta Feb 14th to 28th.

The issue is transportation ( logistics backup )



I am aware of this, but your truck wasn’t included up to yesterday.

I spent some quality time with ford marketing earlier and he says mine is built. No explanation why it hasn't shipped. He looked at my build and said there was no notation of a chip hold on mine. But he also couldn't give me a reason as to why it hasn't shipped.
I told him my theory of not enough trucks being built in kansas city headed north and he laughed but didn't deny it!
We are a small sample here but look at all the dearborn vs kc on the spreadsheet.

Then I started asking questions about the discrepancies in the build and price and what it says it has vs what it actually had.

He claimed to be looking at the things I was asking about and pointing out the glitches Like the raptor 37 graphics and the tailgate applique delete. Said he was making notes on these things to pass along. He might have been, seemed sincere. We shall see.

Or maybe he gets bonus points for being on the phone with a customer longer.....Who knows?
