The guys over at American Trucks just did some 0-60 speed tests with the big three. Each truck was ran with their base V8 engine.

Here are the results:

The Chevrolet is using a 5.3L V8, the RAM has the 5.7L Hemi, and the Ford is running the 5.0.

If the Ford was EB I wouldn’t have to watch the video to know the winner. ?

Yeah that 5.3 is a dog. Chevy has some work to do....
As per usual it seems. They kept saying if they ran Chevy’s 6.2L it would have been more competitive, but I think the 5.0L vs 5.3L vs 5.7L is the closest in comparison and most fair given the lineup they had.

I think a good comparison would be the 6.2L vs. both EB (2.7 and 3.5). I want to say TFL may have already done that? Even better would be the ‘21 3.5 EB vs. 6.2L. 6.2L would see tail lights in that race.

The Silverado not only looks like a dog (bull dog) but has the same performance. But anyone watching the full size truck market knows that GM doesn't care about real performance witness the Silverado SS.
