Doesn't look much different from my '21, but I'm willing to follow Ford's lead and put a lot tape on my truck in the same places to update it to a '24. I wonder if Ford will release a bulletin on how to place the tape and the part number for the actual tape. If anyone has it, please share.🤦‍♂️ And, on more thing- when is Ford going to make push button start standard on all trim levels? I have it on mine, but I would love to buy an XL as a work horse with push button start. 🤔
you'll need an fdrs license and 3m license for the black tape. its rather specific. Its electronic tape, counterfeit tape causes a truck failure and loss of warranty.

@ tilefordude - thank you for the information. 3m license... I had a feeling there was a catch. Good one!🤣

To add to my earlier post, I wonder if I apply that same special tape to my actual face if it'll make me look 24 again? I sure hope so.🤪

They never left. The 'brain' can't talk to them as it's missing the components. Nothing they're showing there can be used to draw any conclusions. The sensors must be completely unobstructed.

I dont think on a test vehicle you can infer anything as to what interior features a certain trim level will get. What I really want to know though is what the rear suspension will be; are they staying with leafs or going coil like the Raptor?

I wouldn’t get too wrapped up on the way these things are optioned. A lot of times these prototypes have whatever parts thrown on them for testing purposes. They aren’t exactly built the way they’re packaged for retail customers
That's what I was thinking. It could be an XL cause that's what was around, with a digital dash just for the sake to test out a digital dash...

Too early to speculate.

That would be a huge change for a mid-cycle refresh.

I don't think Ford will ever go coil sprung on the rear. To many new parts to add, and now that they have the composite leaf, likely heavier.

Looks to me like ford might just be upgrading the apim to the unreal theme (now hidden in the existing 12 inch apim) and calling it a day. Maybe they offer the lighting full screen as an option?
New mustang is getting unreal theme with climate bar as the std interface if I am not mistaken so it would be on brand.

The new APIM has 6x the performance on the low end and 19x on the high end (task dependent)

I mean, don't fix what ain't broken?

On a sidenote, I'm split. The digital dash looks great but I'm a sucker for physical analog gauges.
You are correct? I can just see trying to change the settings quickly with gloves on, or when it's negative 20 and the display is responding slow. Or just doesn't respond at all.

Are you referring to the APIM for the 2024? I'd like to read up about it if the technical literature is out there somewhere.
