So the XLT is coming with tremor hood while the STX is not? I am seeing the slight bulge and vents on the XLT. Wonder if it’s the same with the Lariat/Platinum BAP. God I wish we had a better order guide.

Struggling to do it properly from my phone, but try this. My order is also with Koons.
My order was placed 12/20, so if you got build for 3/7 thats great news for me.
Can you provide your name or order number? I'm talking with Dexter to see if I can add this or not. He says it's an option that's not standard, and will cost money to add.

Update: Can be added to BAP for no cost. However, it will update my order and unfortunately my price protection on my order pre-price hike would be null.. Dexter is going to see if there's anything they can do, since had I known the power boards would be a free optional add-on there would have been no question that I would have added them!

Glad he’s able to sort you out, but also great to get it confirmed that the powered runnings boards are indeed free of charge if you take bap.

Just a "gut feel" but if you did not add/select the power steps to your Lariat order, you likely won't get them. Also, when the configurator comes out I think we will see the steps as the standard up-charge we have always seen on the Lariat. ($1200ish) Ford likely fixes this glitch on the current order app and will follow the 1/3/22 order guide excerpt below. Hopefully, they will honor the orders already submitted if this is the case.
Power steps have only been standard on Platinums and up (not Lariat) for the last 10 years. The BAP cost is the same on both Platinum and Lariat and math tells me they are not intentionally throwing them in on the Lariat. Also, you wouldn't have to add them to the build if they were standard...
Maybe I'm just a pessimist...

Agree, I originally had the BAP on order and once a had a good look at the wheels I quickly went back the 20" sport package wheels. Way better!yeah, for me, I had to have the dark gray 20s since I don't like gloss black or chrome.

Nice Lariat. I have one on order in carbonized gray. How's the interior for you? I have not seen the red/brown yet. I am hoping I will like it better in person.

The rim style is growing on me the more I see it.. this package will look real good with the carbonized grey.

Omg , thats tailgate appliqué is butt ugly on a star white. What were they thinking with such a bland design. And will they really have blue oval ford emblems on a BAP?

It's tolerable. You get used to it...or maybe just start to accept it. It certainly would better without it, but I'd rather have the red/brown accents then the light gray headliner and all the chrome. Still waiting to see if the Black appearance package will have the same accent color for the interior....
