Ford F-150 plants (both) are scheduled for shutdown week of July 4th. Wonder if it’s related…

I wonder if they are going to use this week to catch up on built trucks waiting on chips (or at least I hope so)

My XLT has been on order since 10/29. Wrote Ford on 4/29 to celebrate my 6 month anniversary of no build. Was seeing trucks on dealer lots with my options, and customer orders well after mine with the same options. I am a priority 2. 6 weeks ago I had enough and went looking. Snagged a Lariat 150 miles from me with all the options I ordered, and some additional Lariat options I couldn’t get on the XLT. By the way, in the letter from Ford they apologized for the delays and instructed me to work with my dealer. Right—the only thing they get that we do not is on Tuesday who is on delay. I have been a loyal Ford customer for over 40 years. Fords customer support has really screwed the pooch with their handling of these production issues.

And you punished them by buying one of their more expensive trucks. They have no reason to change.
