Because these scheduling updates that are posted only address scheduling of heretofore unscheduled orders; they tell you nothing insofar as production of already scheduled orders and tell you nothing about what is actually occurring on the production lines.

So at what point are we looking at our 22MY orders being mysteriously converted to 23MY builds? I can't imagine that the seemingly skyrocketing of gas prices have caused a rush to buy gas powered F150s while they still exist .... so will there even be a 23 MY? (Rhetorical of course)

Selfishly I hope you’re right, as that would be a quick turn for me. However I’ve seen a few of your posts and you e been waiting a bit…hopefully you get in on that as well finally.

It does seem to be the case. Luckily (or unluckily?) more trucks will likely to be scheduled, shipped and delivered sooner for customer orders as no retail orders will be fulfilled in the upcoming scheduling window, but Ford said they will be shipping trucks with missing "non-safety" related chips that will be finished later and installed at the dealer.

So what does that mean for us?

You'll get a truck with missing features that will be added later. When later is anyone's guess.

Number's gone up. On his livestream last week Tim from Long McArthur Ford mentioned they got informed 21 suppliers fell down.

Completely agree. I think they're paused to fill the parts inventories and we'll likely see a flurry of VINs. What we're seeing is what happens when just-in-time parts logistics causes Lean manufacturing practices to breakdown.

I would just like to see something from ford I ordered my platinum with the power boost back in oct. from the dealer and i have not seen email one from ford discouraged

Lightnings have been scheduled through wave 3 of orders, iirc. Ford are clearly prioritizing Lightning builds.
