FWIW:
I received an email from Ford on March 29th that included my VIN for a May 2nd build week. Agree with another poster: it’s not on the reservation page, just in an email.
My dealer followed up a few days later to confirm I had received the VIN from Ford.

I've seen a few places where people have said Ford isn't sending out VIN emails anymore until the trucks are in production. Supposedly to cut down on the number of people contacting them about Blend/Build dates being pushed back several times. Anyone else seen or heard anything about that?

I think Ford needs to hire staff to take care of all customer answers, hence all the $$ they are now making.

Tim Bartz's from Long McArthur Ford read a letter from Ford on his YouTube channel (episode 34) that stated email messages regarding the VIN would no longer go out. He implied, but didn't know that dealers were complaining about Ford contacting their customers. Like me, Tim thought the more accurate information that Ford provides is for the better. He provides some great information from on his weekly video update.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the significance of getting a VIN if you have all the other info like build date?

The VIN email typically includes the build date, no VIN=no build date
