I have noticed that after a time lane centering seems to get tired. It will go on and off for various road irregularities then she throws up her hands and says I'm done! and never comes back on no matter how good the conditions until we stop the truck and rest and start over. That's how I know...
In general I love using ACC but there is one place in Tulsa that you come out of construction from 55 to new nice road that is 80 but sign doesn't change for a mile WATCH OUT you will get run over great place to floor it
I have been backing in and can consistently get within an inch of the wall. Electric mode makes it easier and one time as i was easing in to my 1 inch spot the engine kicked on and gave me a startle but didn't lunge at all and still worked like a charm. I don't need to get to the 1 inch spot in...
Just for added comment (no lift kit or tire change) I too have been driving like Grandma and getting overall 19 mpg. It has been getting better after 1000 miles plus and found that the sweet spot is a mix of city highway miles between 45- 65 mph and get 23 mpg and just driving normal. My worst...
I'm 1000 miles in on my Limited Powerboost and have been babying it with City (town) and Highway miles and getting 18.2 overall. Mostly in Normal mode. Curious of what Ecoboosts are getting with similar driving? My '11 V8 for 100,000 miles overall was getting 15.5 with less babying. I think I...
I would sure like to have it because with my other vehicle having it, I forget to lock the truck and having to retrain. On my other vehicle I never used the buttons on the key fob and just kept it in my pocket. So now I use keypad to lock or my app when I really forget. I have been trying to...
I have my mom's garage door opener there and with the open slot it is easy to push the button. For me I just keep the phone in my pocket or the charger and use carplay. I have my 3 garage door openers all programmed
Yea! Successful with my Transfer Switch that kept triggering ground default. Electrician disconnected ground back to main and grounded to transfer box. Worked wonderful. My electrician was definitely intrigued with the truck and impressed.
Just so the engineers don't get the wrong idea from these posts to totally eliminate this feature, I love it since I have a little difficulty with my old bones getting in and out. As previously mentioned just need the over the air update to turn it off for those with car seats and just annoyed...
me too! ---talking to my electrician to see if a work around wasn't sure if HullGuy was on right track with this earlier on his post and has anyone done this successfully through a transfer switch my electrician would sure like to know. (His solution was to buy a generator I think he was...
Funny how things change I used to use it before the camera, hooking up trailer and listening for "comeonback" and "yerrightonit" and "stop right there"
Didn't know where else to post this. Observations on locking tailgate from a person coming from an 2011 f150 with a keyed lock on the tailgate. Now when truck is locked, tailgate is also and with cover locked seems pretty secure. It won't unlock unless key fob in pocket but can open tailgate...
Just picked up my truck yesterday (and posted to order list built 2/9). I had dealer pick up my truck from OKC rail yard and the guy who did was awe struck by the massive amounts of trucks awaiting convoy. He said it was like a small city and the people there were glad he came to get it. Who...
Just got my Star White Powerboost Limited yesterday. Looks like pic above with bed liner. So I knew they put the VIN on center console but wasn’t aware of production #. Curious what Limited forum member’s # are; mine 1770.
Different schools of thought on giving your truck a name...
My son and daughter in-law name all their vehicles for characters on Gilmore Girls, i.e. their Expedition was Babette.
My wife thought I already named this truck because we both say Patience but that will never fly once I get it.
Some...
