Looks sharp but not really following the heritage of the F-150 Lightning. Being that they were only single cabs. In this day and age an extended cab would be justifiable but not a crew cab.
Gotta agree here. Was really hoping for more info on the Tremor on my 38th Birthday. This Gen 3 Raptor does seem sweet, but with Ram talking so much smack on Raptor how aren't they releasing a competitive V8 on launch? Not hating on the 3.5 l EB just want to see this Raptor ahead of the TRX.
Thanks for the initial post and the reply. That's about what I thought. It looks great, but $1200-$1600 just seems expensive after the initial cost of the truck itself. However you can't argue the results. Definitely jealous awesome interior my Blue Oval Brother.
That looks awesome man. Congrats. Kind of last year's Lariat Sport interior I feel in love with. But decided to wait for Gen 14 instead. Roughly how much did this cost? I had been considering this as an option for myself.
It's the same higher end transfer case in the Raptor, Limited, the Bronco has it available, and I think there is one more F150 Trim that carries it. To my understanding it activates when wheel slip is noticed activating 4WD in a way similar to AWD. But normally drives in RWD. Seems nice but...
To my knowledge no. Super Crew 5.5' bed only. They were losing their ass on the Super Cab 5.5' bed because they had two different chassis when all they had to do was offer Super Cab with a 6.5' bed and use the same chassis. Same thing I keep saying with the new Tremor. Truck guys need longer...
Thanks for the post. I'd love to see a pic of the truck though. Ext. Color Guard with Int. Color Slate leather. Sounds appealing. I hate how the have Guard locked out to most options I'm interested in especially sport appearance pkg.
I'm curious what the "Code Orange" is in the screen shots. I agree with you though the "Iconic Silver" had my attention anyways and then the Tremor with it's orange accents just sets it off.
Also wondering if based on the info in these screen shots is telling us it will fall in between XLT...
Firstly I usually hate level kits because I like the stock raked stance. But damn this is an awesome setup on your truck. Color combo (body & wheels), stance, side wall of tire the setup is perfect. I'm impressed that it has a 2.25" puck and you still have rake. Did you also put blocks in...
I agree with you. However it appears that the Tremor grill is the Lariat Sport grill with the Active Orange accent color stripe in the center. Just the hood line changes with the Tremor hood someone pointed out in this thread (good eye on that one Power Kid). But I think it makes it look...
Thanks for this experiment. Was an idea I also had as we are prone to power outages as well. Excellent write up. Really proves the versatility of the power boost. If only they'll make it in the Tremor where it could really be useful.
I was saying this on the original thread. Super Cab with 6.5' bed will use the same chassis as the Super Crew with a 5.5' bed.
6.5' Bed!! Please and Thank You
You better look into it I was understanding that Ford will void your warranty for not using motorcraft blended oil in the Ecoboosts. Especially mobile one.
Also I would advise any Ecoboost owners to get a catch can on thier engines. To help with longevity.
Co-worker's son had a Lariat Sport with a 3.5l EB and he told me it activated when he engaged sport mode on the transmission. This is only knowledge I have and it's word of mouth. Take it as you will.
