If the regen is spread over both axles/motors then it should be a non issue. Same thing happens in tow haul mode with exhaust brake in the HD diesel trucks. Use with caution in 2wd on slick surfaces.
The numbers shown look good to me. Glad to see they are using full sized enclosed trailers to simulate the aero load - one looked like a 20'. My toughest towing job for this truck will be getting my 24' 8-9k enclosed to the local tracks (30mi and 85mi away). Looks like it may even handle the...
I meant using the VINs from the posted march build window stickers. Like this one which is a Lariat ER 1FT6W1EV6NWG01985. It's window sticker shows a blend date of 0323, so the modules may pop a day or 2 after the blend.
Nothing shows up for it yet.
You can change color up until almost the build week - that works. Spray liner will have to have your dealer just try it. Basically the system will tell him if it is possible to modify, very likely he can, since it is a mod shop (not on the prod line) item, and is a deletion.
Payload is even a problem in 3/4 trucks, for those that really look at the door stickers. Most of the well optioned ones are barely over 2000lbs payload. My ram 2500 4x4 crew cab is around 21-2200.
I wonder if that includes the mannequin scheduling. Seems like those have already been scheduled per dealer feedback. It will be cool to see some folks getting build dates soon, I suspect they won't be going by wave, just pulling buildable orders from the big pot of wave 1-4.
You can still modify your order, maybe not trim level, but packages/options, all the way until scheduling for production starts. So if you want to add the tow and pro power packages you can still do it. It is the same cab as the ICE truck, which is a very roomy, comfortable, quiet ride. Same...
Yes, this is the standard customer order verification process, put in place last year to limit bogus retail orders being created by the dealership themselves. It's a good sign they are asking for it (y)
I have had the spray bed liner and truxedo roll up tonneau covers on my last 2 trucks. Well priced, and they are very compact when rolled up, and you have full easy access to the bed - if you use the bed a lot, this is a much cheaper alternative to a sliding/roll top version. Very weather...
In the Bronco world, Ford had guidelines and penalties (losing future allocations) for dealers not selling to the original order holders. The threshold was around 80% match in the beginning, but slipped lower at the end of the year. A dealer can still do the bad thing, but there is tracking...
No, he can't. Your order+deposit is a contract to sell to you when it arrives. You can choose not to accept, but you have the first right of refusal on it.
