This is the idash in my tremor, mounted on the builtright panel.
Works great. Little pricey for a gauge though, I thought it came with the SD slot but it doesnt. The model that does is even more expensive.
I also have a dragy that is on the panel, not pictured. Also works great.
Changed mine at 35k, 2022. Oil was filthy, shop had done a few other 10r80s, same deal.
Was about $500 including filter and dropping the pan, and I had them install an aluminum deep tranny pan that was additional $300 - the 10r80s run kind of hot.
Update to the saga: finally found a dealer that wasn't a piece of shit, and they went straight to the fix at the end of the TSB. Tranny tech said it was typical of that time transmission and he knew exactly what the issue was. He knew it had a tune too, asked me about it. One had nothing to do...
Maybe start looking into a lemon law claim where Ford replaces the truck with a new one. I think you are close to the qualifications, or at least be aware of it.
I had the transmission serviced after reading the threads on this forum. I had a local shop that only works on Fords and has been around 20 years - when I walked in and asked for it, he showed me a bottle he saved from another 10r80 at 40k miles that was black. He says he's done a handful this...
The dealer denied it not knowing it was tuned. So that point is moot. They referenced an irrelevant modification, which would not nullify the warranty claim, on a transmission that has the known issue without any aftermarket parts affecting it regardless. It's not that it's tuned and it broke a...
I don't really understand how you can say the 10r80 issues aren't common. The dealers in my area have 3 month waits from how many transmissions they are getting for TSB service. The issues are well stated and known, and fairly common. They weren't fixed until 2023 model year. 2021 and 2022...
The tune wasn't on. The dealer denied it for having an exhaust.
It ran better with the tune. I'd say the problems are pretty common considering there's a TSB that's been revised 5+ times and multiple class action lawsuits for the 10r80.
Skipping from 1 to 3 is one thing. Delayed and harsh...
Typical Boltons and livernois tune. When I took it to the dealer the tune was off, but it drove better with the tune! It is literally the same things described in the TSB.
Hey all, having some tranny problems that appear to be exactly what's on the TSB23-2250 that many models are experiencing, delayed shift, etc. Truck literally takes two seconds to shift gears, skips gears, shifts 3-4 gears at once, then shifts hard then it does shift.
Brought it to a dealer...
I waited for the borla on mine and I'm glad I did... I've been after SPD for a bit about the downpipes. They just released the gen3 raptor ones so the gen14s are hopefully this month. I did the black tips.
Love my method set up. I have the 295 bajas, which are almost 35". Next set will do true 35s.
I have a 2.5" lift up front plus the tremor stock lift, not sure what that is on a regular F150.
I spread my crash bars a little bit to get rid of a slight rub at full turn.
I'm about 20k miles...
The tremors are 402, but yeah it is. I like the look of these headlights and they have the amber DRLs. I can sell my OEM lights after and make up most of what these cost.
Same with the tail lights.
