The number to Ford to start a case is (800) 392-3673, or you can start one with Ford on here through messaging, but once you have a case you will have to communicate with your case manager.
Contacted Ford through the forumn messaging. They created a case. I also kept very detailed notes. My case manager was very helpful. After 30 days in the shop I met the requirement for lemon law and requested a buy back. So around day 37 I got a call saying my buyback was approved. I am now...
It has been a slight pain to deal with Ford at first, but honestly pretty smooth so overall so far. All the people I have dealt with have been kind and understanding. I am waiting to get called from the RAV rep for my repurchase quote, so we shall see how that goes.
Just goes to show the industry overall. I don't trust any of them, but Ford takes the cake in recalls and issues that they know exist but can't seem to fix.
Ya Ram might be even worse. There recalls all seem to be very serious to the point they can't even sell em. I'll probably stick with Chevy/GMC or Yota, but who knows. Maybe just get a Prius and put 37s on.
Sure sorry I kinda left out why 😂. From the first week of ownership the truck had major vibration issues in the floorboard and steering along with a very loud transmission. The dealer also found a clicking noise in the steering and has a new module on order with no eta. The buy back will pay me...
Ford approved my buyback 2022 Tremor 402a after being in the shop with multiple mechanical issues since day one. Purchased 1/7/23. Approved buyback today. Not sure what I'll purchased next but won't be another Ford.
Truck is still in the shop. Day 20 I believe and no resolution. Originally told they have to replace rear end. Now they say they don't know what it is. Trying to tell me the transmission whine is fine. However service advisor told me today my steering wheel is making a clicking sound and they...
No you paid a shit ton of money. Make them fix every bit of it. My Tremor (now with 700 miles) is back in the shop for the 3rd time with rear diff being replaced, transmission whine, and Rough idle. Didn't even mention the wireless charger getting hot, cause at this point it's the least of my...
Share the same sentiment. Not sure how anyone would just be ok with this. No other brand has this sound. They all sound like normal engines. My coworkers heard it today and one said what's that whining sound and the other said it takes away from the exhaust. For Ford to say it's normal is total BS.
Thats my only complaint with GMC is their seats have always been hard. No give. Chevy, Ford and Ram have pretty comfortable seats. I think Ram might win in that category.
