David has been writing about cars and trucks forever. I have listened to him in a podcast or two on ev's and he is very realistic with the topic. He does range tests at realistic highway speeds and use to get real world results. Read the the article with a grain of salt, but it always good to...
At the levels they talk about in the article I don't expect to see anything as I will not be seeing anything earlier then a my2023 and don't expect prices to stay where they are
Putting this here because it gives some insight for what could be coming rebate wise.

My dealer said no adm, but I didn't reserve early, so still waiting for the email. I might stop by this week to check in, see how busy I am. Like I said before if an adm is part of the deal I will walk or move my order. I am having a hard time justifying anything above an xlt er at the moment...
First of all, I dislike this process for ordering vehicles through a dealer, I have only had bad experiences where they screw it up between you sitting with them and inputting into their system.
But, in saying that I won't consider a tesla or rivian due to the lack of dealer support as well...
I haven't looked too close at the luxury tax as I didn't think it would be something I needed to worry about.
The only reason I liked the lariat was blue cruise, but from what I hear that will be subscription based. $20k more I don't see that value in what you get either. That's my opinion...
Xlt prem is the only package offered in Canada, doesn't look like we get a base option with 20 inch wheels being the smallest option. Tire upgrades on the US look to be $150 and Canada a $1000 to go to all terrain
With the liberals luxury tax being considered, could add 20% to an optioned lariat if I read the tax info correctly. Looking through the pricing if I go through with this xlt with most boxes checked will be my choice
This was on my reservation page
MSRP starting at $68,000** up to around $110,000.*** Preproduction computer-generated image shown. Not representative of vehicle reserved. Starting spring 2022
Hoping the pricing is lower then configuration in usd to cad
Walked into the dealer today, they had nothing for info. Looking at the prices I see my configuration costing about $105k which is possible, just a little rich.
Ford was hoping to encourage voters to talk their elected official into those rebates hence the tour down south. They don't have to beg the liberals or ndp for a rebate so why waste the advertising money
Just make homelink $100 option and allow us to choose. I use homelink multiple times a day, not having as an option on an xlt means I won't be getting a truck if a lariat is not available.
Right now my reservation is at High River, only choose them as they were closer to home. If I knew purchase history counted I would have went to okotoks as I got my f-600 factory ordered from them about 6 months ago. Okotoks the finance lady put me in a tough situation that left a bad taste...
