I'm having the same issue on my Lightning XLT which has the same 12" screen as the ICE version.
I've tried rebooting the system with right-skip power, and tried having Sirius XM send refresh signals and nothing worked.
I know the 15" Lightning users don't have this problem, so it looks like...
I was at a mall the other day where they offer free EV charging spaces right in the front of the lot. As I was pulling into the spot, a guy in a Tesla came down the row and put on his blinker like he was going to take my spot even though he could clearly see I was backing INTO the spot.
He had...
My last F-150 had a great set of Husky's and they were absolutely perfect for every season.
This time around, I skipped the factory carpet mats and ordered my truck with the factory rubber mats for $160, which is a bit steep for a set of mats but they look and feel great. I could've ordered...
I ended up getting the 312A option specifically for the comfort of my passengers who currently complain about how hard it is adjusting the seats in my Mach-E vs my last F-150.
I also wanted any potential upgraded safety features, so I think I needed the upgrade for Adaptive Cruise Control and...
Ford definitely made some changes to the Lightning after I completed my order too.
For example, at the time that I ordered my Lightning, the web images for the XLT with the $9600 312A upgrade trim that showed a power window rear window, that definitely aren't included. The descriptions also...
I'm Joe, from Staten Island.
I guess you can consider me a Ford Fanboy.
Just about every vehicle I've ever owned was a Ford.
My favorite's were my 2002 Thunderbird and my F-150 XLT.
Just got back from the New York Auto Show and I was hoping to find some of the same merch for sale like the hat and the Yeti… no such luck. They didn’t have anything specific to the F-150 or the Lightning.
Bummer. Now I really wish I made it there the other day.
I just got back from the New York Auto Show and I have to say that it blew me away!
The VIP invitation from Ford let me jump to the front of the line for a ride… INSIDE the Convention Center, which was a total surprise. With such a small space, I didn’t expect the driver to be able to fully...
My order is for Atlas Blue too. I've owned 3 trucks in what seems like the same blue, but each time it had a different name.
I'm hoping to get to the NY Auto Show today to finally see it in person.
Just about every Ford has some sort of built-in mobile data connection, so Big Brother is collecting all sorts of data every day. They tend to push OTA updates out in waves so they can monitor the results on smaller batches before rolling them out to the masses. I tend to want the newest stuff...
The cool thing is that the feedback is automatic, and not just from several thousand Lightnings. Each EV Ford makes sends data over the air about real world driving situations. So they’re also capturing data from all the Mach-e and soon to be made E series vans to work with.
Ditto on the bounce comment. Traditionally truck rear suspensions are long leaf suspensions that are optimized for heavy loads, making them bounce more without a heavy load.
The full time AWD should play a big role in overall handling, and Ford will likely tweak that with software updates as...
Thanks for posting these. I really wish I knew a few hours earlier or I would’ve been there.
Hopefully I’ll make it to the NY Auto Show this week so I can finally see one in person.
Bummer for me. I've been without a truck since last June when my F-150 broke down (wouldn't start and they couldn't figure out why for 4 months). I really hoped I'd have my new one before the summer.
I hope they're going to expedite shipping because it's their flagship model. That would be a...
Bummer that there as such a short notice. I definitely would've gone.
Do you know what they called that blue color? Was it Atlas Blue... or Antimater Blue?
I ordered an Atlas Blue... either way it looks amazing!
