  1. 2021 PowerBoost and Towing... Terrible MPG while towing

Took my trailer out with the powerboost for the first time last week. 22' Winnebago Micro Minnie. I was happy to see 12mpg+. Same setup with my 2014 Ram 5.7 averaged between 10 and 10.5mpg. I kept it in normal mode and locked out 9 and 10 and used cruise control where it made sense. Towing...
  2. Couple things . . .

I don't have pics, but here's a video. I found using needle nose vice grips was easier than using a screwdriver. I have the work surface lid as well and ended up using 4 nickels; one on the top and bottom of each of the two springs.
  3. Couple things . . .

Same as the others on the center console. I put a nickel on the top and bottom of each spring (total of 4) and it works exactly the way I want it. I wouldn't bother taking it to the dealer. They probably won't be able to fix it and it will take a lot more time and effort than just fixing it...
  4. Clunk when engine kicks in

Well I was supposed to get this done, but when I called at 4 after the truck was at the dealership, I was told the "transmission specialist was out sick" and I could leave it there overnight and maybe he would be back to look at it. Given their absolute trash COVID protocols, I just took my...
  5. Clunk when engine kicks in

There's another thread related to this talking about a TSB out to fix it. Mine's at the dealership now hopefully updating the ECM per this TSB. Of course they don't take my word for it and just take the 20 minutes to update the ECM. They have to diagnose/test/blah blah blah. Assuming they...
  6. What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

I'm averaging 22.4mpg, which I'm pretty happy with. Any trip longer than 5 or 10 miles, I'm averaging 25mpg or better. What brings me down are all the short trips (less than 3 miles round trip) to drop kids off at school or run to Home Depot. Those trips are almost 100% gas and charging the...
  7. How to Fix Your Floppy Armrest for 10¢

This worked great, except it cost me $0.20. I needed a nickel on the top side of the spring as well as the bottom to get the tension where I wanted it.
  8. SOLVED: For the life of me, I cannot program my HomeLink to open my garage door.

I had some trouble with mine until I found a video that told me I had to hold down the button on my remote for 5 or 10 seconds (can't remember exactly, but the Homelink LED will tell you when it works). It worked first try when I did that. All the other videos said I just had to press the...
