That was sort of the initial conversation.
“I’m checking on an order…”
“Well let’s see…”
“it’s outside. Let’s talk.” I may have name dropped to make it clear I’m tired of the run around.
“Oh, let me see about getting it inspected!”
Did you make any changes to your order? Including adding Parking Assist Delete?
OrderTrack.app says my truck is delivered. As soon as grandma is back with lunch for the kids, I'm heading to Chapman Horsham.
Ask when you and your order number were entered into Smart Vincent. From my reading of the April price protection memo, that date is what locks on your price level, available incentives, and financing offers. I'd be curious to hear their response.
To say Ashlie is indifferent would be an understatement. I get that they are high volume, but a modicum of helpfulness would be nice. More Costco, less BJ's.
I'll post about my particular situation after this is all said and done, but I will simply say that Ford Corporate has made us Ford...
Do you think if I show up with a wagon packed with wheel well liners, floor liners, and a tonneau cover they might realize I'm there for the long haul?
Chapman is tired of me bugging them with better info than they have: "Prepping a vehicle for sale could take several days".
Whaaaaaaaat?
My truck is supposed to be there by tomorrow and tubby ass is going to be sitting in their showroom on Friday or Saturday until I drive out in my truck.
Clearly Chapman is tired of me bugging them. "Prepping a vehicle for sale could take several days".

I spoke with a senior person at Ford today (I'm not name dropping, but this individual knows all the gremlins intimately). He told me Ford is having a hell of a time with the railroads and getting things loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
Mine shipped by convoy/rail 10 days ago (3 June) and has now been waiting to unload from a flatbed at the railhead for 3 days. Ford Chat says estimated delivery to dealer (50 highway miles away) on 2 July, which seems ludicrous but who knows these days.
