I've had Bridgestone Blizzaks (Echo, Mazda3, Ranger, Explorer, Palisade) and Michelin X-Ice (Sorento, Acura TL, Audi S4, Tacoma) on all of my vehicles for the past 10+ years. Both have been excellent but over so much time and so many different vehicles, it's very clear that the Blizzaks are just...
...or it could be that your truck is actually quieter than others, you're in a 2022. I've been in '21 Job 2 builds and 2022s and they are noticeably quieter than mine.
Just coming across this thread now. I am 100% ordering a Gen 3 when it's ready.
I don't know what's worse. Waking up the neighbourhood when I back out of my garage at 5am or everyone staring at me, wondering about the UFO sound as I drive down the street. People will be in their front yards...
Just so everybody is talking about the same thing.... the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus are very different tires from the Pirelli Scorpion ATR. Everything I've heard and read about the ATR's is not very good. Most people who have All Terrain Plus on this forum seem to love them.
Oh cool, you have 601's too. Looks good! More poke than I was expecting. Are those the same +12 offset? Tires look wider too. Are those 295s or 305s? Thanks for posting that pic!
How have the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus been working out for you? These are on my radar along with General Grabber A/Tx.
These stock Hancooks have been awful this winter. Hoping to make a switch soon.
What did you end up going for? The stock Hancooks have been really disappointing this winter. Clearly the weakest feature of what is otherwise and amazing truck.
It's between the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus and General Grabber A/Tx for me at the moment. Haven't made a decision yet.
Hey! Do you have any pics down the side showing the wheel poke? The 601's are the exact wheels I've been eying but I'm worried they poke out too much for my tastes with the 12 offset. I think I'm decided on General Grabber A/Tx for tires.
Love your truck man! I wanted Lead Foot so bad.
