  1. ETA or VIN# in Canada

I agree with NoSnow as I don’t know anything that differs between Canada and the US. Once the okay to build is achieved then both Canada and US retail orders should see some progress.
  2. (22 Oct) 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

I can sure understand your frustration. When is it too late to delete an item? I asked my dealer a couple of weeks ago to add something and was told it was to late. Not a big deal on what I wanted but I’m wondering if you could still delete an item.
  3. (22 Oct) 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

Your special order is the same as a retail order. i’m not sure I believe everything my dealer tells me as well but I’m going what I’m reading onthis forum and what I’m seeing in dealerships. At this time, there does not appear to be anything uniquely different between Canadian and US retail...
  4. (22 Oct) 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

There seems to a number of VINs for stock orders. The reason for no VINs for retail orders is because OKTB is not achieved yet. This is the same for all countries. Not sure what a “special order” is. However, a dealer stock order can be configured exactly the same as a retail order. The...
  5. (22 Oct) 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

Check with any Canadian dealer and they expect the new trucks (stock orders) to show up in December so the different interior idea doesn’t work. The Canadian interior might be a little different but the stock orders are getting made. Regarding the hybrid for job 2 in Canada again makes no sense...
  6. (Oct 27) Report on 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

Congratulations! That’s still a wait but at least you got a date.
  7. (Oct 27) Report on 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

i saw a video o All hybrids have a backup alert system.
  8. ETA or VIN# in Canada

Job 2 makes absolutely no sense as they are make stock orders now. The diesel is delayed but from what I understand the hybrids are getting made now. The problem with some of these sales people is they will give an answer even if they don’t know what they are talking about.
  9. ETA or VIN# in Canada

I have no more information than you do but it appears we are all in the same situation (Canada or USA). The only VINs that I’ve seen are people that got a stock order. If I understand the process correctly, the retail orders will start getting VINs near the okay to build status. The good...
  10. (22 Oct) 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

Since the diesel has not changed from last year it sure seems like a huge delay. Also you would think the work surface would not be that complicated compared to every thing else. Regardless, I feel the people that are impacted by this delay. I’m hearing rumors about the powerboost getting...
  11. 2021+ F-150 Orders Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

From google priority 10 is the highest for a retail order. Your dealer did well for you. I’m at 19
  12. Question about changing grills and wheels

One thing to consider when deciding between chrome and sport is the interior. It appears the sport has some red trim that people either hate or like. Switch out grills sounds expensive but I’m sure it can be done. Perhaps it could be painted ?
  13. Hybrid Late Availability?

im not hearing any major delay like that. In Alberta and expecting a vin in the next couple of weeks.
  14. Canada PowerBoost Hybrid Fuel Economy MPG Rating - 24/24 MPG

Thought both 24mpg hwy and city seemed strange. Check the Natural Resources Canada website and it is 9.8 liters per 100km city and 9.7 for hwy and a combined of 9.8. The 24mpg above is us gallons. The imperial is about 28.8 mpg. I’m impressed
  15. Review & answers from test drive event for 2021 F-150

I agree the PB truck weighs over 500lbs more than a similar EB but with the increased gvwr for the PB the actual payload difference is about 270 in your example. Depending on how you use the truck and needs, I don’t think it’s too bad if you want the PB. Wish it was more but I’m glad Ford...
  16. Review & answers from test drive event for 2021 F-150

Depending on the configuration, I believe the the diff is closer to 345lbs. From the official Ford specs for a 157.2 wheel base 4x4 the gvwr is 7150 for a EB and 7350 for a PB. In all cases comparing apples to apples the PB has a little higher gvwr than the EB. The payload diff for the...
  17. MPG fuel economy stats for F-150 PowerBoost hybrid (at test drive event)

I agree, this is not even close to a real indication and the numbers at this event will be bad. I expect the real numbers will be much better.
  18. Let’s see some payload stickers from the test drives

Good to know. Thanks I have no idea but my guess is the skid plates on the fx4 package would add about, 60 lbs, dual panel moon roof maybe 100lbs, 20” chrome wheels 30 lbs, power lift gate and step40 lbs. again just guessing on the extra weight.
  19. Let’s see some payload stickers from the test drives

Thanks for posting . Do you know some of the heavier options that this lariat had? Things like panoramic moon roof, FX4 package, bed liner, 18 or 20” wheels? I wonder which wheels are heavier? thanks again
