Did that actually, seconds before I added my VIN to the list. Hit "Post Reply" to quickly. Got a rep on the other end who was actually aware of the issue.
I'll do my best.
To add my $.02 on a previous conversation, i'd say 60K, maybe more, of these miles are BC miles with only one real problem. Coming into Albuquerque, NM last year there was a white line painted in the middle of my lane and a rather larger Prevost diesel pusher, driving next to...
Not that it's inexpensive, but my thought was the battery was considerable more expensive than that.
Thanks for the info. I'll check later on the health of the battery.
This week my truck will be crossing over the 100K mile mark and taking the battery warranty with it. Contemplating a new truck, but I really like my ride and except for one or two minor issues, don't have a lot of complaints.
So...my question to the masses, is staying with my current truck...
Got in my truck this morning and the seat had move all the way forward, the steering wheel had shifted all the way up and the mirrors had moved out just enough to be of no use.
Anybody else experience this recently?
They're "working" on it. Have another ride, so not that much of a big deal. If they don't have a loaner or my truck first of next week, I'll apply a little more energy to the situation.
Put my '21 in the shop last week with this issue. Dealer says they're prohibited by Ford to give it back to me until it's fixed. Hopefully before April.
I'm coming up on 100,000 miles on it and it's been regularly serviced, but definitely going to keep trying to find that right dealership. Sadly, not a lot of options where I live.
I experience this on almost every journey greater than an hour or if I push the truck on an uphill trip. The error clears itself after I start/stop the truck. I've taken it to two dealerships, but have told me don't worry about it unless the CEL light stays on after restart.
Where were you in Georgia? Between Warner Robins Macon there are quite a few construction areas where the speed limit changes back and forth. My truck does the same thing there. Might be that?
