I received the recall notice today, and I believe I have seen the flicker but only once. I hope it’s an OTA update, would be lame to have to take it to the dealer for an update when these trucks have the big brother over the air capability!

Exactly why I did NOT consider the generator/ pro power stuff. For the cost of the option you can go buy a nice Honda inverter generator with the proper sized engine/power ratio. while it’s a neat option, just silly to put the hours on the large truck engine. Not to mention the wasted fuel!

Thanks for the confirmation. Any idea if the regular mirrors dim both left and right? I just (re) ordered a truck today and knew I wanted the tow mirrors but also love the auto dim mirrors in our Ram. Should have been picking up my order today but the lariat showed up as an XLT so my wait...

Dang, lame. Better than no dimming but my 2020 Ram dims both sides. Thanks for the info.

I have done a little digging and cannot confirm that the 21-22 tow mirrors are auto dimming or not. To be more specificf I ordered a 502 Lariat if that makes any difference. Can anyone confirm?

I am going to need more high red photos of this rig! That is the truck I am about to (re) order. Unfortunately my order arrived, scheduled for this Friday pick up. It was ordered as a Lariat, Lead foot, 502a, 157”. When I stopped to check it out yesterday he handed me the keys to the same truck...
