Yep. It sucks. Wait until the hands on wheel and eyes on road nanny get impatient. The truck will start pumping the brakes. Not good.

My BC was enabled this week. Used multiple times. The eyes nanny has got to go. I also suspect she is steering the truck. Constant rocking back and forth. BC needs to step up its game or revert back to lane centering.

I have experienced the same thing a number of times. Very dangerous. Have you found a solution?

I’ve had platinum PB for 3 months, 5K miles. Only issue has been an OTA update that has disabled SiriusXM. Overall average 23.5 MPG. So roughly $600 fuel savings annually. Also less wear/tear on engine(10% electric run time) and brakes(a lot of regenerative braking ). Overall very cool and happy...

I contacted Ford. They are well aware of issue. They stated they are working on a update to correct the problem. They said it will be coming out in the next few months. Never again!

I did inquire about the subscription. They stated that when fixed, call back and warranty will extend the subscription for outage.

I contacted Ford regarding SiriusXM outage following 1.7.1. They stated they are aware of problem and are planning an update in the coming MONTHS to fix it.

Contacted Ford. They are aware of the SiriusXM failure when 1.7.1 is installed. Will be fixed in the “NEXT COUPLE MONTHS”..

Turn off auto updates. Seems to be a trend that the OTAs mess things up vice fix.

1.7.1 shut down my SiriusXM, it no longer works.

I’ll testify to that. OTAs have broke my truck vice update. It started as a platinum but working on becoming a Lariat.

Well Stated. But beware 1.7.1. I lost all SiriusXM functionality following the OTA. I can’t believe Ford deploys these updates to fix “little things here and there” only to screw up your truck. Then leave you without resources to fix it.

So far all I have had is dissapointment and broken features due to OTAs.

Turn OTA off, avoid the hassles

Curious what this is going to mess up.

Especially when the update pushed ends up braking features vice fixing them.

Thanks for reply. I ended up going back online and sent 2 resets using VIN. Did not help issue with SYNC SiriusXM. My work around is SiriusXM on my IPhone then send to SYNC via CarPlay. Unfortunately I loose SiriusXM when I have poor phone reception. The SiriusXM antenna is out of the loop with...
