I just installed the plate on a 22 XLT Powerboost tonight. I can confirm the W716831-S439 bolts and W719490-S439 U-Nuts are the correct hardware. For the cooler lines on the right front, I simply unbolted the cooling line bracket on top and the next bracket down and there was enough play...
Wondering how this mod is working for you? I have a powerboost as well and would like to do it to help deter thieves from stealing my Cats. What was involved with the mount modification for the cooling lines? Also is it easy to change the oil by removing the access cover?
I agree with you questioning whether this part was actually a redesign. I really don't think it was. My replacement looks exactly like old one, same part # stamped on it et... However, mine is not leaking at all and I have about 1200 miles on the new one while driving in all conditions...
TN Rotty- Thanks for tracking this for us. Here is my info:

No- have 1K miles post repair and everything is good
I really feel for you guys that are still waiting. I'm incredibly lucky that I got mine after only 3 week wait. I now have almost 1k miles post fix and no leaks or codes so pretty confident it's fixed. I would really like to know what caused the failure though. Defect in plastic? freezing?
I'm not sure if I got the old or new version of part. See repair invoice, it's got a "w" . Also new one looks exactly like the old one. I'm 1 week post install on new exchanger and no leaks though so I'll take it.
They got new part installed today and I just picked up truck. Drove 10 miles home and crawled underneath when I got home and no evidence of leaks thus far. Will keep an eye on it over the weekend and report back.
Got a call from both Ford and my dealer today. Says part is in! taking it down this afternoon and they will give me loaner as might be Monday before they can install. crossing fingers that this is gonna work out after what others have gone through and have been told.
