I think I’m just going to toss mine in the glovebox in a ziplock with a note reminding me what they are….just because Ford made me pay for those in the price of the truck. 😂
I have the same issue as well with my wipers smacking the A pillar after a replacement. Oddly enough on the original motor from factory the key was in its index and it never hit the pillar. The replacement does now. I thought the whole point I’d the key was to keep it from stripping the notches...
I get the window push back occasionally and reset it… you would think once you reset it that it would remember, but it occasionally forgets.
I also will get a “Brake” indicator light randomly which is fixed with turning it off and on again. Never a code or anything in my FordPass app.
I also...
I agree… I’m just under 10k and a year and a half on my ‘21 and I’m right at 19 average (hand calculated) over the lifetime/seasons. I average better with summer and worse with winter… but I also have low mileage. Those numbers may improve if I drove it more and I’m about a 50/50 mix.
I got mine this morning. My bed camera stopped working (just a blue screen on that view), but then looks to have fixed itself while I was out running various errands. Hopefully nobody else gets that but had my heart skip a beat. I also had my “check brake system” light go on too but after...
Hey everyone. I’m having an issue and before I take it to the dealer to have it looked at, I wanted to see if anyone else has the same issue.
I have a ‘21 2.7 XLT just over 8500 mi and I intermittently get the “Brake” warning light indicator on the dash and sound. It has only ever popped up on...
I put the nozzle in and out a few times and wiped the inner part of the flap. Light didn’t clear on its own so manually cleared the code. I’ll hope it doesn’t come back.
I’m not sure if anybody else is having this issue and I didn’t find anything when searching the forum.
For the last couple weeks my FordPass app has been changing all its measurements randomly from Miles to Kilometers. It doesn’t do it all the time but has done it 3 times since I’ve noticed...
The motor was replaced today and my ears are rejoicing! Even the few test swipes I did to test it were filled with anxiety waiting for the noise. I am absolutely thrilled!
I’m not faulting the truck for that at all. I’m just saying I don’t need 4 car lengths when driving in congestion and not even attaining a speed fast enough to require that distance. Having the setting at 1 during those times is more than enough to let a car in while not allowing the lane...
Speaking of rural….. while I have no intention of ever trying it out on purpose, I’d like to think running ACC on those rural roads at night and/or raining might help should Bambi be chilling on the road in the distance or decide to wander out there before he’s close enough to potentially sound...
I have mine set to 1 car length on the expressway. I tried to use more but when it’s congested people tend to just keep cutting in because there is so much space while it keeps applying the brakes to maintain distance and allowing more cars in.
What I wish it would do is if I set it to 4 car...
I don’t believe the “stopped” message will change at all when the car pulls away and you’ll just sit there. It may say “press to resume” though. I just hit the resume button when the car in front of me starts to move and it takes care of the rest.
If you are seeing “stopped”, you are letting ACC stop you, so all you should have to do is hit the cruise resume button and you’ll be on your way. No manual throttle tapping or manual accelerating needed.
My only peeve with ACC is if a car up ahead is turning right and ACC deems it to be...
Dealer called me today and confirmed the wiper motor arrived. I have an appointment July 12th to get it replaced. I will be more than happy to wait the 2 weeks for my appt to not have to hear that awful noise again!
Maybe related….Mine does that too occasionally and I don’t have the powerboost. I’ll stop at a red light and a couple seconds later I’ll get a jerk forward like that. Doesn’t happen all the time either. I’ll also feel like the truck wants to push forward with the brake pressed while stopped...
So I took my truck into the dealer yesterday to finally address the 2 recalls for the underbody and trailer break controller and asked about the wiper motor. The dealer said they can clearly hear it is faulty and when trying to order the replacement they have a stop order on the wiper motors...
