it’s scary the first time it happens, because the transmission is grinding and loss of all power…. But I know a few people and they can try to push a new ‘22 order through as quick as possible. Problem is I would want a black appearance at this point and I can’t wait that long as it’s my only...
Well, for those following my issue, I’ve initiated a buyback. The root cause of the truck shifting to park while driving is being traced back to low transmission fluid pressure. It spent 2 weeks in the shop while they replaced every part related to transmission fluid pressure, only to have it...
Woot Woot Bbass5.
Sadly, mine is still in the shop. They "fixed" the issue, but then it happened within 10 minutes of leaving again, so it went right back. I picked up the truck on 10/22, and it's been in the shop all but 4 days since then. Beyond frustrated at this point. Supposedly the...
Thank you all, and yes, glad no accidents, or anything truly serious. I have been in contact with Ford CRC, and they're contacting the dealer. They asked what I was looking for from them, as in help, or assistance. Told them I just want a truck that works, is safe, and with going into park 4...
Well, it was nice while it lasted. The truck went back to the dealer, and into the shop. It has tried to go into Park while at highway speeds 4 times now. That's a scary ass thing to have happen. Oh, and the Power tailgate doesn't work properly.... Sigh
Thanks ! I will say pavement was wet, or it was light sprinkles, and a lot of traffic, so I will give it the benefit of the doubt for not being able to see the road markings properly, etc. On the way up it was working fairly well, and it was really nice. A little eerie to get used to, but nice.
Truck arrived Thursday afternoon, and picked her up Friday at noon, and headed out on a weekend get-away. Headed back today to do paperwork (A-plan, so no haggle pricing). It's been amazing, but there are a few small issues so far, window rubber trim not lining up, and right turn signal doesn't...
This is done automatically for every retail order. at time of sale, you can choose the incentives at time of order, or time of delivery. You can’t mix and match, it’s all or nothing, but still gives you a choice.
I had a rental BMW that did this 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. That was my pinnacle of user interface usefulness. Wireless CarPlay, in dash map, nav, full LCD dash, it was amazing.
Truck moved through the Mod Center rather quickly, as it has been released today. Now I'm just waiting on the shipping, etc. I do have a trip up north Friday afternoon, and the factory is only 2 hours away from my dealer.... here's to hoping.
80 is the "worst" priority that a retail order can have. Priority 01 is the best. If yours' hasn't been pulled to be built yet, I HIGHLY doubt it will. Most dealers are already converting orders.
ETA is not the actual ETA, just when they expect to have an update by. But we usually see updates prior to that.
That being said, I had a build date of 9/13, 9/24, and finally 10/13. Built, and sent to the Body Company (mod center) to get the spray-in bedliner. Can't wait to get the truck. I...
