10000 km's on the truck. I ran regular for the first 2 thousand km's and averaged 11L/100 km's. Since then switched to premium. Truck runs noticeably better on premium.
Trip odometer has been calculating over the last 4500 miles and shows an average of 22.4 mpg. Hand calculations based on the...
Hwy only mileage eco mode.
This was just under 160 km's or 100 miles, cruise set at 120 km/hr or 75 mph. Never slowed down once off of the set point or time on the clock. 91 octane,
All based on US gallons. Those L/100 km, translate into the posted US gallons achieved.
I don't follow the imperial mileage though it shows greater numbers.
Just did my longest drive yet. Average speed 75 mph/120 kms set on cruise. Ran premium 91 octane. 10.4 L/100 km or 22.6 mpg. Trip 2
5200 km's on the truck and last 2 and a half tanks of fuel, 1 regular and 2 tanks of Premium. Total number is below. Trip 1
Mileage was 21.19 mpg over 2700 km's

I am not sure. It does make sense as max tow, I assume would add stiffer rear leaf springs among probably larger coolers etc.
I am not sure where you would find this information.
Just had an OTA update today and I can't figure out what they updated. When I look on Ford pass, it just says Bug fixes and other updates but does not say what problems they were fixing, or what they were improving.
Has anyone noticed a difference after an update?
Thank Dan M,
I did not know that the 2wd had a 3.55. I do know that they rated it at 25 mpg but I thought it was the lack of 4x4 and less weight that made the difference of 1 mpg between the 4x4 and 4x2.
Thank you for clarifying.
Great, let me know what you find. 1 other tip, the temperature setting in the cab definitely makes the engine run more often if heating or cooling are required.
I did not think it made a big difference but it does. Example is full heat max temp or max AC with lowest temperature.
Well, coming from the Stock Goodyear Wrangler Territory ATs, I had to change them. The Goodyear tires were busier than a cat covered in shit on a hot tin roof ??.
They Were working very hard to maintain traction on hwy on ramps and on Off camber turns. They wanted to float and bounce around...
I agree that the PB shines in the city or speeds below 50 mph.
That being said I also find that there is a 1.5 to 2mpg difference between using Regular gas or 91 octane.
If I do the speed limit on the hwy (65mph) using 87 octane, I averaged 22 mpg. That is over 120 miles.
Same trip using...
