The good: Checked battery, they did replace it.
The bad: All the reservoir caps were loose and wiper fluid cap wide open. In Tx, doesn’t take long for evaporation to empty that container.
Can’t seem to find a Ford dealer in my area which employs anyone who doesn’t have a “busted give-a-shi#%er”.
Reset BMS and now Vehicle Battery - Days in Service reads zero. This would indicate this is the 12v life PID entry.
Will pop the hood tomorrow and look for date codes on the battery. Sadly, due to a bit of area dealer mistrust I’ve need to prove to myself they did replace the battery as they...
Hmmm, open to a new learning and discovery but I was pretty sure the EV battery information was under the Battery Energy Control Module - Battery Age in Months. It seems it would make sense to quote the EV battery in months vs days due to longer life, but I’m no authority and making assumptions.
Question for the group on Battery Days in Service. I've 22' PB King Ranch which was experiencing the lovely "Deep Sleep" issue ongoing. Serviced at Ford and they eventually found 800 CCA battery registering CCA at 158. Invoice states "Replaced battery and Reset Battery Monitoring System"...
So, sure as I post, get it to work…. Had to select all Import options on Settings to import, then all Dashboard and PID options in next select import option screen, then Manage Dashboards, then hit + sign and select Copy and Link Dashboards and there they are. Select Copy and should be good to...
@Snakebitten - wish I could say that but my truck and yours are the same, with exception of max tow… Even tried differing versions of your file and all yield the same. Imports 3 PID and no dashboards. Still thinking it’s an IOS Android thing, but certainly one of those instances where I’d love...
Are you by chance using an iPhone to run OBDLink? I experienced the same set of events as you using an iPhone and if I'm not mistaken Snakebitten is running his via an Android. That's one of deltas I've tried to work through to determine cause.
Greygoose2021 - May I ask if you’ve dealt with their customer service department or just ordered goods?
They may be great as a vendor and as everyone is a consumer, everyone can pretty much tell when they see great customer service and when they don’t.
Systems which do not allow an un pulled...
Let me start by saying the cause of the issue is my mistake in ordering the wrong item.
I recently ordered a Swingcase for my MY22 F150. Well I thought I did, but in the order confirmation I saw I ordered the Swingcase for a MY22 F250.
Within 3 minutes of ordering, I looked online for the...
Well, I tried to install my Bak X4s yesterday and that was a total exercise in frustration and futility. After taking everything off, waiting to hear back from Bak Industries or RealTruck, whichever is first...
I’m in the same group who thinks they got wrong rails and a top a little sort on width for my Bak x4s. Rails firm against bulkhead but stick so far out on rear tailgate will not close. When one side is securely locked in channel on side the other is not and can be lifted…. Heck top is nearly...
Yes, very happy so far. Love the fact it’s easy on the knees, wood and furniture, and my dog. There are a few fit issues with the uprights in the bed and did not use the stamped cutouts on the back of the Bedrug. Removed all BoxLink and tie downs, then put the screws barely back in. Once at that...
Didn’t get the Bak X4s on today… The tailgate seal from ESI was simple and quick (use updated online instructions as those in the package are dated). Bedrug is in but took a while taking all the BoxLink, Tie downs, and PowerPro out, cutting holes for screws and putting all back.
Picked mine up at the dealer yesterday after work and with about 8” to spare it even fits in the garage. Will probably add my Bedrug and Bak X4s tomorrow.
