I wouldn’t read too far into this mass email. These appear to have been sent to large groups of ford customers with an active order. They are being sent to ICE F150 orders as well. I think this is a boiler plate email saying “expect delays”.
I’m not saying I (You) don’t own it. I’m saying you are “selling” back to Ford at the agreed residual price that is predetermined in the Ford Options Plan. If the dealer or ford say the truck is only worth $15,000 you don’t come up with the difference. That’s the whole point of them providing...
Not sure if this is accurate. At the end of the 36 or 48 months and you have no intention on keeping it, you would return it to Ford Motor Co finance via the dealer. The dealer isn’t buying. And if they are, they are going to buy it from Ford Motor Co. I could be wrong through.
There isn’t an OBDII port there. There is a diagnostic port there which you can plug an OBDII adapter that you purchase elsewhere to gain the similar information.
No OBD ports in Tesla model 3 and model Y. It’s not nessecary in electric cars since it was designed entirely for the purpose of emissions testing… there is no emissions in an electric truck, so not required.
I’m sure they will still install one though.
They wouldn’t buy it from you. You would just drop off the keys. If you’ve used more miles then allocated in your Options “plan” you will be charged a per mile fee. If you use less miles, you don’t get anything. You don’t get any of your sales tax money back, even though you paid on the price of...
This is the way it was explained to me via a Ford dealer. I think if you were planning on putting down $24k plus an additional $7-10k to cover tax, title, registration. Your loan amount over 36 or 48 months would be the $16k plus interest. There maybe another minimum threshold that is unspoken...
Down payment would be made on the actual loan. 50% of $80,000= $40,000 plus down payment. If you put $10k down your loan would be 30,000 for 36 or 48 months. Sales Tax and dealer fees aren’t factored into this.
Any truth to the spay in bed liner causing huge delays? I’m okay with a few extra days, I just don’t want it to be delayed 4 weeks because I chose a factory sprayed in liner. Thanks in advance for your insight.
Keep in mind - The R1T is powering four motors, F150 is powering two. I agree the range seems optimistic with only 131kWh, but it should be pretty close.
