Sorry, never tested the Focus cells. We are currently drive testing the Mach E and I should start disassembling the battery pack in about four weeks to start cell level testing. We are working on a way to get a Lighting for the next year's vehicle (NOT MINE) to benchmark and tear down to cell...
Most, if not all, EVs have a dedicated speaker to produce the sound...seems like a simple task of disconnecting the wires to stop the sound. I'm more interested in changing the sound to what I want it to play.
Which is the reason I want this over the Rivian or Cyber Truck. I want a pickup truck that is electric not an identity crisis looking for everyone to notice me.
I would just forgo the tax credit as the resale value will more than makeup for it and not be worth the risk of an audit. That being said, I hate the thought of a flipper but also realize that if he just abandoned the order the extra money would just go to the dealer.
I have this on my Denali and it's great! You can turn the mirror to where everyone in the truck can see what is behind.
It does take a bit to learn to focus on the surface, not into the mirror.

Let us know how well it preforms.
The charge profile for Li-ion is MUCH different than a Lead Acid. I personally would be hesitant in doing this unless there was a way to update the charge profile in the BMS.
I would say this is incorrect...I have the same email, yet I have a GMC Denali in the driveway. Might be true if you have owned a Ford truck in the past. (The Denali replaced an F150 Limited due to the better toys on the inside)
Frankly, my schedule is so busy next week (only slightly busier...
It probably isn't a part cost problem, more of a research information problem. Studies have shown that red light is good at putting you to sleep and blue light is good for keeping you awake. I remember my B-52 Weapons System Operator buddy talking about this 15+ years ago. Now you can buy...
Not a myth, but yes, they are at least 3 years out. They started appearing in my lab within the last year for some independent testing (mainly SAE J2464 "safety*" testing). My lab is considered an advanced research lab, so this tells you they have moved out of the basic research phase. What I...
