I actually signed up for the three-year deal and Ford messed up the processing.
So now they want $800 per year and IMHO it just isn't worth it. I find it all sufficiently irritating that I'm starting to look for alternatives.
Regarding MPG?
It's difficult to properly characterize since there are a lot of factors and how you drive, the conditions you drive in, etc. all tend to matter.
I'm generally pretty careful about my driving. '21 King Ranch FX4 exactly as it came from the factory - I'd guess I generally get...
OK, my '21 PowerBoost King Ranch Fx4, Max Tow is relatively low miles (approaching 13K) but has done some towing of a travel trailer (about 6,600 pounds).
I've had the driver-side pneumatic seat support and massage system go out and be replaced but otherwise it's been pretty trouble-free...
Wish I could actually be helpful but all I can say is that this sucks very badly.
I don't know how your lemon law works but I'd be seriously considering pursuing that avenue.
Getting the back of the seat to flop forward actually isn't all that hard once you find the right projection to use. The wrench is a very helpful thing to use when it comes time to pull on it.
It is kind of easy to think that the projection you want to pull will be on one side or the other of...
I don't think I have a way of preventing the tail lights other than that the area is lighted.
The tailgate is somewhat less vulnerable from my perspective.
In part due to Army service I prefer to park tactically (I don't back out of the driveway, I back into it). So I park with the tailgate...
Agree with the others.
If you have it in 4WD? Your front and rear tires have a solid connection and that is a generally good thing if the surface you are on is low-traction but very bad if you have good traction.
The problem is that no matter how well you try your tires will not have exactly...
That's really pretty reassuring and your responses are greatly appreciated!
And I realize you are not promising anything but are simply talking odds and the most likely behaviors.
I'll sleep a little better tonight.
I'm quite certain that the skid plates won't be a tremendous deterrent. It wouldn't really be all that difficult to take a skid plate off even if it is a cool one made by Talon Garage - it's a few bolts. But the skid plates will slow them down a little and that would be at least a little bit...
I have the 2021 King Ranch Fx4 PowerBoost and pretty happy with it. But I don't get to park it inside the garage and I'm wondering how hard it is to steal the vehicle or just the cat?
Since it is the Fx4 I'd imagine the skid plates will be at least a minor deterrent, but probably only a mild...
I put in the same strap/release on my 2021 with B&O. Once I got back in there I figured I might as well install the thing although there's little to no benefit from doing that.
You have to align the rod on the bracket properly (there are small tabs on the bracket mounted behind the seat which...
I didn't find the link in your sig but I found the hitch anyway: https://andersenhitches.com/product/ultimate-connection/
20,000-24,000 pound Gross Trailer Weight Rating so the hitch will handle more than my truck will. . .
What I've been reading has me thinking that the Premium gas gives about 5% better fuel mileage. Here in Kalifornia regular is about $6 (or approaching that) and the Premium still seems to be about 20 cents more per gallon.
So paying about 3% more to get premium is giving me 5% better fuel...
I'm hoping you find someone for that trade.
I got my standard mirrors replaced by the tow mirrors. I think that the truck looked better with the standard mirrors but I can see better with the tow mirrors.
I'm also guessing that the tow mirrors increase the drag just a little and gas mileage...
The article said something about recent testing. There was also something said about all-terrain.
So I suspect that they were comparing vehicles which have relatively high clearance and have been tested within the last two to three years. That's probably a pretty limited subset of the market...
