Yeah it sucks...but not worth the risk and hassle. Some have got it working, and many others not. The variables are too finicky. I reached out to American Power Brakes and they were unwilling to guarantee a return/refund if I had issues....which says a lot.
I have pages of emails...including commentary from Rick at Baer brakes about how difficult it is to get BBK working on 2021+ trucks. Little Shop MFG has completely stopped offering BBK for 14th gen trucks....and that's all they do...brakes on trucks. I have seen some people get away with it and...
I would be very surprised if that happened. I think I am going to order an American Power Brakes kit, if they will commit to taking the kit back if I get ABS codes.
In my experience most all $1500 offerings have damage and they’ve been listed for a long time or several times. It’s a hard pill to swallow, probably more than any other part of the truck for me.
The center console bolts right in. There’s not much to write up about. The hardest part is acquiring the parts and the cost associated in getting clean used parts because brand new parts from ford are $3k+

There is a electronic brake assist on these trucks, likely for self-driving future, and it doesn’t like variables changing.
